Final Prediction: Germany vs Spain

Spain deserve the title, because they played a great tournament. But if Germany beat them tomorrow, they deserve the title also, that's the whole point.

The team who wins is not always the one that deserves to win....... as im sure you have found yourself saying in other matches with nothing to do with Germany.

If Spain lose tomorrow, then they don't deserve to win the tournament. Tournament's aren't won in the group stages or knock out rounds; they're won in the final.

Spain have undoutedbly played the better football thus far but that doesn't entitle them to a free pass in the final. Unless they're robbed by the officials, they'll what ever comes to them.

Which matches are you talking about? I was saying exactly the same about the Turkey matches, for example, after which people were constantly bashing the Turks and weren't giving them credit at all.

If you don't use your chances, you deserve to lose. If you show heart and morale, and never give up, you deserve to win, like Turkey actually repeatedly did in the tournament themselves.

P.S.: The most ridiculous statements are those Greece comparisons. Germany reached the final due to their great attacking players / performances. Our defence was actually our weak spot throughout the tournament, in contrast to the qualification in which the defence set a new record (minutes without conceding).

Almost all Germany matches (Austria match excluded), including the defeat against Croatia, were entertaining even to neutral fans, especially the knockout matches were great.

The problem is that few are actually "neutral" when it comes to the Krauts.

The games against Austria and Turkey were not entertaining because of Germany thats for sure. Poland was a decent game nothing special.

First of all, I said "Austria excluded", because it was the only boring match with German participation IMO.

Of course Germans are not neutral when it comes to Germany, why should they? The point is that others watching the matches from the "neutral" football fan perspective should actually be pleased with them.

And yes, that includes the Turkey match, in which Germany once again scored some of the best team goals of the tournament.

The best / most entertaining football matches (especially to neutrals) are not those that are clearly one-sided.

I hope Spain win. My prediction 1-1, extra time then Fabregas will score the winning goal..

I don't think this is true

You have to actually give germany immense credit. They do not have great players and their first team individually can't compete with some other sides but despite major injuries and a shocking defence they have battled their way to the final. They aren't defensive at all, they just aren't a good enough side to dominate teams. They have scored some brilliant goals in this tourney

There is no way you can compare years of rio, gerrard, lampard, beckham and terry hoofing the ball at crouch and rooney to this german team. They do actually play some decent football from time to time, they are just pretty inconsistent with it

the comparisons are ok...greece played horrible defensive football..germany have just played horrible football (apart from a few good moves) and have managed to JUST do enough...thats were the comparison comes in..JUST doing enough no matter how..even against weak teams..

Anyway, ppl just want to see Spain win because they've been more consistent than Germany, and because they never win anything...I wouldn't call that anti-german.
