It'd better be Spain or there'll be nothing to look forward to in the semis.

They counter well this is true they also seem good using teams plays going forward if they score fine if, not they know where to be in position, meaning able to control the opposition effectively even if they are on the ball... Ale

    Probably Trochowski. Erm
I´d love to see Marin, instead of him who, I think, is our best young talent.
But Löw will prefer Trochowski, who is stronger defensively.

Capdevilla is quite a slow full back, so Germany has a chance to exploit it - who is the most pacy out of potential replacements?

I think this is going to be a stunning game. Both teams have an attacking mindset, like to have the ball, and are capable of doing superb things with it.

The QFs have been great, let's hope the SFs continue in that vein ok

Spain don't really have an attacking mindset, like Khadrim said, they just like to hog the ball, but they didn't even do that very well tonight.

Spain to score a goal from a rebound (again) and win 1-0 (again) ok

I thought I explained this already a couple of days ago!

Yes they hog the ball, but always in search of a goal. Sure, their buildup is slower because they are conservative about keeping possession of the ball.

Just because a team doesn't play high speed kick and rush and doesn't always tries (relatively riskier) vertical passes - which will result in counter attacks when they don't come off - doesn't mean they are not attacking.

Europe's first win outside Europe is almost certain now. I'd say 99%. Just can't see Uruguay beating both Holland and then one of Spain/Germany. They're a decent team, but not good enough to go all the way.

They don't commit enough players forward. They just pass the ball around in midfield without actually trying to score. Look at their goals so far in the tournament - rebounds, deflected shots and taking advantage of goalkeeping howlers.

But you know that to score off the rebound you actually have to commit players forward?

Goalkeeper howlers and set pieces - sounds like a most typical way to score at this tournament, only Germany are constantly finding a different ways to score.

You also need the luck from the rebound.

It is a typical way to score in international tournaments, hence i don't understand the Spain wankfest.

I was also expecting more from a Spain before a tournament, that's why I am disappointed, I still think that they could do better, with some slight changes.

Regarding media - it's all about hype, Spain, Brasil, Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney, Maradona, etc...

Every time game starts announcers are awaiting Brasil to play beatiful, Spain to play beatiful, Messi to have a great game, Rooney etc...
They don't look at opposition, tactical systems, they just go with a hype, which very aften means also poor knowledge about non-hyped teams or players.
