did you hear el "Bombardero de los Andes" has returned to Bremen for a year? Very Happy

He scored 6 of 9 goals today in his first training session today, 3 goals in 10 minutes and few very nice ones from what I heard. cheers

Yes, I did. Good to hear he's returned to his "second home". He owes a lot to Bremen, and I'm sure he'll explode this season helping Bremen lots. <Ale>

By the way, do you know why Chelsea wouldn't sell Pizarro to your team. They say in Peru that Klauf Allofs wanted so bad to sign him, but Chelsea would only accept a "loan". They got him for free on a Bosman deal, but wouldn't sell him for around 5 million to Bremen!

Half of the Chelsea fans (the dimwits!) don't want him. These people don't know that Pizarro is BETTER than Berbatov and Santa Cruz. I wonder why Chelsea management WOULD NOT SELL the "bombardero de los Andes" to your team. scratch <Ale>
Yeah, Allofs said that Chelsea didn't want to sell him, which surprised me as well. Unfortunately he didn't say why, but from what I have heard Chelsea want 12m+ pounds (15m+ Euro) for him. That's far too much for us of course, but maybe Chelsea thinks they could get that sum for him after a successful season in Bremen...however, I don't know if that's the true reason, but otherwise I have no explanation.

Anyway, we're all very happy he's back now, even if it's only for a year. sunny

At least Pato can contribute to team play. Brazil might as well play with no striker at the moment.

To be fair, Pato has been quite poor this tournament, and Jo has only played a handful of minutes. To be honest, not many of the Brasilian players have impressed; Hernanes, Neves, Alex Silva, Renan & Marcelo aside. The others have either been ordinary/poor.

Aguero has looked sharper today, but still not his usual self. Vickery was saying in his column that he thinks he needs a break. With the Atleti transfer, U20 WC, and now Olympics (after playing for the senior side as well), he hasn't had a break in three seasons now.

    He's been consistent all tournament.

Scored once and made a couple of assists. Never really been troubled defensively either. I have been very impressed.

Certainly better the M.Torres, he is so dull. No pace no skill.

Nice nut-meg on Gago(who's having an ok game) aswell Laughing I'm sure he will be reminding him of that in Training.
