The DFB's investigating the shenanigans at the Halle - Hanover match (I was there, luckily, on the other side of the stadium...). And Halle's players have written a letter to the fans, condemning their actions.

Who were playing in the centre of defence for Bayern yesterday? I could only watch the highlights on a tiny screen so it wasn't very clear. It looked like van Buyten was playing (badly) and the whole defence looked to be in training mode for the goals, as if they were in a 'no contact' game. Very slack defending indeed.

Lucio and van Buyten, both of whom were quite content to watch the Erfurt players do their thing at times. [Did Lucio even play? I just remember seeing Daniel van Buyten...]

It's still early in the season, and they've got plenty of games to come. Why tire themselves out by putting in effort at this early stage?!

You know they get criticized a bit more quickly than everybody's favorite 2nd best team in the country. We'll see it again tomorrow. Unless they win by a minimum of three goals the crisis will be considered even graver than before.
