Just think I'd rather have Rooney in my side, so based it like that.

Rooney (I am Spanish) is better than Messi at the moment. Messi hasnt done enough to be considered on the same level as Rooney, maybe in a few seasons but not right now.

I'm neutral (not swiss but french) and I voted Rooney

Messi has done fuck all so far in his career. Plus he's playing instead of Giuly, so even though I hate Rooney, I'm voting for him.

Rooney looked very sharp against Fulham, i expect his partnership with Saha to be awesome this season.

I agree with Effenberg...Why would any spanish be biased about Messi unless it's a Barcelona fan?

I put Rooney (neutral) even if I'm half "Spanish" and even more so, a Barça fan.

Messi needs this season to overtake Rooney though. But he has shown too little still, even if his talent is undisputed.
