Poyet suffers from selective English. He's lived here for how long? 10 years? Suddenly he only understands what he wants to understand.

Spurs are digging their own batard over Berbatov, trouble is - if they sign a replacement for him his value drops because people know he's for sale. If they don't sign his replacement then when he inevitably is sold clubs will be reluctant to sell so close to the window or up the price because Spurs are desperate and cash rich. Best thing is to keep him. Once the window shuts he'll perk up.

Sunderland have tons of strikers, is Ken Win Jones out for long? Spurs should get him.

Zaki looks good so far. I remember chatting with EMP about him a year or so ago but I thought maybe he'd missed the boat as far as getting a big move was concerned.

Officially he's 25, but he has been 25 for 7 years now so I doubt that's true.

Some interesting things to look at "Match of the Day":
    1) David James save after Arteta's volley was World Class.
    2) Alves free kick making 1-0 for Boro was World Class too.
    3) There were 3 powerful strikes which bounced off crossbar and dropped near the goal line:
3a) Jermaine Dafoe's shot was later decided to be a goal for him and not for Peter Crouch
3b) There was a powerful shot during Bolton vs WBA match, very close to be goal
3c) And goal nr 5 for Wigan was because of another rocket, this time sent by Ahmed Zaki, player played on first, but after a few seconds it was decided that Zaki scored for the second time today.
    4) Some interesting moments during Bolton vs WBA game, like 2 goals disallowed for the hosts around the end, I think both time referee was correct
    5) Also, I saw a free kick taken by Hull players which looked like one straight from rugby/american football playbook, one players uses his hand to put the ball on the floor and another one makes a cross. It was in 1st half I think.

    * Jermain Defoe - there is only one thing in football that trumps a chip and that is a disguised chip cheers

    * Rob Styles is still a total c**t I see. Never a penalty and the Free Kick decision that followed afterwards was a joke.
