A terrible first half so far with Cr@p play all around. Valencia have come to do the job and they have partly done that with that well taken goal by Silva.any chance of coming back and getting two goals pretty much went out with Van Der Vaart getting himself sent off. he seems as terrible at sliding tackles as Guti allthough to be fair he shouldnt have been sent off. he has to learn soon he is in Spain where the refs mood decides the card.

What a terrible first half. Every player should be embarassed by their performance. Guti has already lost the ball at least 10 times, Ramos is doing just about everything wrong in attack, not even managing to get crosses past the first man, Robben was as bad as Robinho in the first leg, Heinze looks to be wanting to give presents to Silva and Villa, and is Raul playing?

Schuster better not wait another 20-30 minutes to make the first substitution. He can start by taking out one of those turtles in attack (preferably Raul) and put in Higuain, Drenthe or Robinho, since the team will need more pace now more than ever with one man down.

Red card for VDV was a bit too harsh IMO. At least he got Judas Mata though

Damn so close there by Robben but once again he should be less selfish. great work by Captain to win the ball back and Pepe to start the attack and run forward. Valencia are being too passive. they forget that it isnt enough to just pass it around.

Admittedly Robben is at least causing a lot of danger when he gets the ball. His pace is driving the Valencia defense crazy. It's just too bad he always goes for glory.

He probably did get a slight touch on the ball before going through the man, but it was a little bit of a lunge. Will the two players be suspended for league games now?

De La Red instead of Guti is a wise choice.Higuain for Raul is even better because he will add the pace in attack that we can use on the counter.

Yes. Ruud will have one will VDV might get 2, though he could still get away with 1 since it wasn't a very hard tackle.
