Try and name 2 things you like about your most hated rivals. Shocked

    I dunno. For me the club I hate the most is Tottenham but I guess our 'fiercest rivals' are actually Millwall so;

    1) A real football club with real fans. Say what you like about em, and most of you will, but the reason that we hate em so much, is that scarily, we're kinda similar.

    2) That they're $h!t.

    For Tottenham,

    1) Despite being absolute fickle, moaning, delusional f*ckwits, credit to them for filling their ground every week.

    2) The second thing I like about Spurs is that they spend so much money (more than Arsenal for example) and still aren't very good.

    Pompey:

    1) Harry Redknapp - got Southampton relegated, but it's still difficult to dislike or disrespect the guy, should have been given the England job instead of McClaren

    2) Sol Campbell - he's big, black and gayer than a battleship

    Arsenal:

    1) Nothing

    2) Nothing

He was being investigated for corruption at the time so that lost him his chance I think.

Whereas McClaren was spineless and incompetent. I'd rather have the potential crook.

2 things I like about Tottenham:

1)They do attempt to play entertaining football.

2)They do make me laugh with some fantastic and laughable results...such as today.

    Genoa:
    1)Erm...they have a nice kit.

    2)They have a nice stadium.

Surely this only became as clear after he got the job Wink

    For Man u

    1) Giggs was once a great player

    2) They have a very useful influence on all refs

    3) They have an excellent defence

In truth, when he got it, even I (the eternal cynic) was sorta behind him, as he did do well with Man U and Boro. But the warning signs were there.

    Portsmouth:

    1) they're bottom of the league - an excuse for another Ale of 5.

    2) they're so downright easy to hate.

As a fourth one, may I suggest that if it wasn't for Man Utd's success plenty of the multitude of moronic glory hunters could well be support one of our two clubs. It doesn't bear thinking about, I'm sure you'll agree! We've got enough of our own and they can be pretty annoying, but they're not even close to some of Man Utd's! Wink

There are two clubs I hate in PL: (nothing like rivals in my dictionary)

    1. ManUre

    a) they have a good support. Glory hunting or not.

    b) their manager ,and their players might be c**ts of the highest order. But they are winners, no two ways about it.

    2. chelsea

    a) Carvalho, and Essien play there

    b) Russian money to steal, and get scot-free, while we get slammed by english press for Cristiano ronaldo.

I fondly recall the humorous moment on the day of one Newcastle/Sunderland derby when, on the way to St James', probably around an hour before kick off, walking along an otherwise empty street with my 75 year old grandfather, a bus full of Sunderland fans passed by, with police escort. Haphazardly but correctly assuming my grandfather and I to be Newcastle fans, the Sunderland fans started thumping their fists at us and hurling their bodies against the windows of the bus; some even spat or dribbled, and this, allied with the condensation that was a product of the steam caused by warm, agitated bodies, made the windows of the bus very damp indeed; they mouthed what I imagine were the foulest of obscenities at us - and we were out in the open - the sun was on our backs - and we knew we would win the game against Sunderland that day, so my grandfather and I smiled over the bus full of Sunderland fans, and we continued walking. So I like that Sunderland football club was able to provide me with such a humorous memory.

No, FG, I wasn't stoned - but a little tired, perhaps. It was almost bedtime - I'd had a glass of chocolate flavoured milk (O Boy! is the favourite brand here) - and it, added to my tiredness, got my various juices flowing. I've had to get rid of my couch, unfortunately.
