Goes to Sunderland for £8m...BBC Sport.

Curbishley wanted to keep him, but it got taken out of his hands, and the board accepted the offer.

Will probably go through in the next couple of days. Congratulations...5 defenders fit (1 a midfielder) and he sells one...c**ts!

It's a good deal...but the money will go in Gudmundsson's pocket, and not to be spent on the squad. We have 5 defenders fit. One is a midfielder...the other is a youth player. Collins has had no pre-season...or played since December?? Ferdinand is our only other fit one coming back...ridiculous!

    Could you loan someone?

You've already missed out on Andrew Davies though.

I heard Gudmundsson was going to buy all the players lunch, anything they want from the sandwich bar on Bow Hight Street.

He never had the chance to prove that.

Shearer booted someone in the face while they where lying on the floor.

The FA wanted to dish out a lengthy ban but Shearer, allegedly, said that he would pull out of the WC '98 squad if they banned him and they $h!t themselves.

Shearer headed in a set piece against T'sandniggers and coverted 2 pens v Argies but looked past it otherwise - Sir Les would have been much better.
