No. No Hernandes either, Dunga really doesnt like his football.
No Pato, he is out of Brasil for a while, Dunga never was a fan of his football anyway and since he did average, he is out.

No Marcelo eithter, Dunga thought that he needed to learn a lesson, aparently he was too excited about his performances in China (you know, he actually played well for our team, and that is such a shock, that the player must be punished)

But we have Gilberto Silva, so everything its back at the normal ok

    Dunga Announces Exciting Offensive Trio

Carlos Dunga has announced Brazil's starting XI to face Chile on Sunday, where the biggest surprise was the inclusion of three strikers -- Robinho, Ronaldinho and Luis Fabiano...

On Friday Carlos Dunga confirmed Brazil's starting XI to face Chile in a vital World Cup qualifier on Sunday, with Robinho, Ronaldinho and Luis Fabiano creating an intimidating offensive trio.

The Brazilian coach announced the team after their final training session in Teresopolis (90 km from Rio de Janeiro), before taking a flight to Santiago, Chile.

Brazil's starting XI will be the following:

    Julio Cesar

    Maicon . . . . Lucio . . . Luisao . . . . Kleber

    Gilberto . . . . . Josue
    Diego

    . Robinho . . . . . . . . . . Ronaldinho
    Fabiano

"We want to maintain our structure, so that the players understand each other so that they can play a good match, and that is why I kept the same team (for Chile) for both of our preparation matches. We want to maintain that team in the case that there are no injuries before the match," stated Dunga.

Dunga seems to have listened to the advice from his critics, and has announced an offensive trio of Robinho, Ronaldinho and Luis Fabiano, as his side look to pick up what would be three crucial points in Santiago. Brazil promise to be a very attacking side, but still maintain a strong defensive structure in the midfield.

"It will be necessary to be very alert, we have to work more with the ball and need to be patient. We will try to make the most of our technique, which is the best thing we have," he affirmed.

Plus Diego has never really impressed me playing for Brazil. Can't decide if it's the Dunga factor or just him being a club player.

Its not a bad team or a bad idea , a tall no 9 which pacy athletic ahead of two SS/AM type of players with a playmaker just behind.
Two watercarriers and width coming from the fullbacks.

    On paper.

I hope Brasil lose tonight and Dunga gets fired. I don't think they've played one good game under Dunga. Even the 3-0 win over Argentina was ugly.

I wouldn't want Gilberto or Josue anywhere near the Scotland team, let alone the Brasil one. I'd seriously take the likes of Hartley, Brown, Thomson, Robson etc over either of those two.

Like Argentina they need to start blooding in a younger defence too. Marcelo should be the first choice LB now. And the likes of Thiago Silva, Alex x2 should be blooded in as well.

Too bad he plays Chelsea and not the English version of Cadiz (West Brom)...otherwise he could impress a lot with some bicicletas in a 20 minute cameo off the bench. Against Chelsea he'll probably get stamped on.

Then again, they do have the slow as a truck John Terry Wink

I think that could happen but you shouldnt be surprised if it doesnt happen because he has been soo used to complaing about things in Spain that he sure as hell wouldnt get in England. this move will make or break him.

Not really but the thing is that you arent allowed to do as much so you have to change your game up a bit. in england you dont have to be as restrained because if you tackle hard then:

A.the ref wont give the freekick.
B.the players in england dont dive as much so it wont be as costly.

3-0 flatters Brasil. I thought Chile played the better football on the night. But it was an improved Brasil performance anyway, but I'm still less than convinced about the team selection.

Donkey may be proving to be more than a one season wonder. Still an absolute c**t of a player though.

Diego was Brasil's best player. Chile were good going forward but defensively weak. Thought Mati had a good game, even though some things didn't really come off for him.
