I guess Chile will be slaughtered in 1 hour. for the first time, we'll have a 4-3-3 formation.

Game starts in 15 minutes. Over here FSC is showing the game. The teams probably won't show too much since they'll be playing again soon in Copa America.

I dunno, my spelling of South American players isnt what it used to be. I cant imagine there are that many Chilean wonderkids with the same name, I am thinking of the one who does a rabona at least 3 times a match.

Yeah he is, I have never seen him play live, just seen his youtube videos which are awesome.

This game would be so much better, if they stopped fouling each other constantly and the chileans stopped diving.

Ps how good was Robinho scissor kick

How lucky you are Brazilian, players who can pass the ball constructively are not a novelty but the standard. You will enjoy this match, the Chiliens can also pass well.

he's not Brazilian, but he's still from a country where footballers can pass the ball alright... Wink

I didn't like tha match. The team was a complete mess (though a talented mess). We scored the first from a penalty that was never a penalty. The third, a free kick. The fourth, a corner kick.

The second goal was beautiful though. Dani Alves to Kaká (MOTM), who bombed the goal.

Elano should be dropped. Fred is alright, but he's not Brazil A material. Unfortunatelly, we need old fattie Ronaldo back.

Didn't think Brazil looked good either. Ronaldinho & Robinho (other than the odd glimpse) were ineffective. Alvez played well, as did the defence in general. Think you're being a bit harsh on Elano, who I thought played ok today. Brazil need to find a proflic CF. Actually thought Wagner played well when he came on though.

    What changes would you make?

Robinho for Alexandre Pato (Internacional), Elano for Mineiro, Fred for Ronaldo. Dunga for Luxemburgo.

to be fair, our defense was excelent once again. I think our defense is underated. Alves-Lúcio-Juan-Gilberto are obviously among the best defensive lines in the world.

I remember that Robinho was always very highly rated in Brazil (as in one of the best talents produced for some time) do you think he will never live up to early expectations? Or Do you think he still has something to offer?

I agree that the Brazilian defence is one of the best in the world. Brazil's defence has been good for sometime imo, and has always been underrated. Surprised Gilberto hasn't played for a bigger club than Hertha Berlin; Juan likewise.

    Cicinho/Maicon-Alex/Naldo/Luisao/Cris/Capaca-Maxwell/Marcelo/Kleber

is stength in depth that few, if any can boast.

Interesting that you include Ronaldo as well. At 30, he still has atleast a couple of years in him for Brazil. Atm it doesn't look like Brazil have a replacement for him?

Brazilian media still thinks he's some kind of new Garrincha. he's a good player, but far from that.

yeh, we had careca, then romário, then ronaldo, then... fred, love, sóbis? I don't think so. we need a new one. ronaldo is still our best.

just seen the match...not that bad really...it seems that a lot has happened to Brazil's defence since Sebatiao Lazaroni reasoned "It's fine for us to entertain the world";"It's wrong that we end up entertaining our adversaries"...unfortunately the myth is still going on through this lands

Agree with you todo, there's nobody like fatso yet...good for you he went to Milan...they preserve the oldies pretty well there

wouldn't you like to give Pato some time before sending him to the seniors?

I am comparing them to England, when you see an ordinary Brazil through English eyes you are always amazed. I mean they can pass Exclamation
