Good game so far from Germany. The result is a joke. Should have been at least 0-3 or even 0-4 for Germany.
On the left side Trochowski is very strong and Podolski is the best player on the field so far. Klose is simply annoying. Wasting every chance he get.
Hope to see Marin in 2nd half.

Klose's miss was shocking. He wasn't even particularly close to hitting the target considering how much time he had and the position he was in.

Podolski scores his second after good work from Trochowski.

Germany winning 4-0. Rolfes and then Schweinsteiger scoring straight after. Another meaningless game, there's just too big a gulf in class to make this sort of game worthwhile.

International football Ale all those crackers against Lichtenstein, Cyprus, Malta, Andorra..perfectly normal to stop the league a week for such games.

See we lost a friendly...and that our wins at the Euro are quite meaningless now Laughing

6-0 in the end for Germany. Very good result for Liechtenstein, could have been much higher.

I wouldn´t call it "meaningless". They have some surprisingly good results at home. They won against Latvia and Iceland, drew with Portugal and only lost 0-2 to Spain. The mod said, except two players, all of Liechtenstein´s players are profs.
They way Germany played against an ultra defensive team like Liechtenstein was convincing and entertaining. No long balls, many good combinations.
But nevertheless you are right, we shouldn´t read too much into it.
    Finland will be much harder.

Germany are definitely one of the best teams around when it comes to taking care of the minnows, or at least that's how it appears to me, and your strikers seem to fill their boots against such sides. In fairness Liechtenstein did play a bit of football on occasions compared to a side like Andorra, and I did like their inventive corner routine which almost caught Germany out. But I just can't enjoy these games when there is such a gulf in class, I don't think it really benefits either party too much when the only possible hope for a side is to fluke a 0-0. But still, a good start to your campaign, and you made your quality show through with much greater ease than some top teams do.

that was not a deflection, it was certainly his pussy style, letting the player get better of him. Also, cheers to the man who got shoved around by Larsson in the previous friendly. Laughing

Certainly looks the most vulnerable in France defence with his error-a-game consistency. Evra-Gallas-Sagna were excellent. Ale

Those were good, but I loved the 3rd goal! Even if the keeper (who clearly looked confused and couldn't decide where to position himself) didn't leave the tiny gap at his near post, the ball was hit with such power that it would have taken his head past the line.
