    Bale was excellent for Wales

Germany Russia should be good games. Both teams have better attacks than defence.

Klose looks top be getting into great shape: 2 good goals. Good news for bayern. Loew needs to sort out his defence. Finland play very organised.

    Hyypia is very poor.

Only 1-0? Romania is really in bad shape at the moment. But at least they've won it.

Andorra have actually scored a goal against Belarus, although it was a penalty.

In the derby of the towelheads, UAE are beating Saudi Arabia 1-0. The losers get their feet cut off.

Where was the German defence there?! A free header from six yards out, right in the middle of the goal! Finland now leading 3-2. I didn't realise this game started early, it looks like I missed a good first half.

toughest game in our group! I told them right after the draw!

We have to play more relaxed and press at times but let the ball do the work and wait for the cxhance we'll get.... wait, wait, wait and relax! Don't get nervous! If the chance dont come within 75 minutes we have vennegoor on the bench to play long balls....

    Edit....

At the time I wrote it down we scored...
