Great, i really enjoyed. The weather sucks, but overall it was a great experience. I had a contract signed until the end of this year, but i had to come back, family was calling me back, wife and sons.
But my luck was that Ado played in the lower league that season, so it was not a challenge to go and watch them.
And, the luck that i have, almost all my colleagues were anti-football guys, so i didn't managed to go and watch Ajax or PSV or any other European game (except Barca of course).
But who knows, since ABN screwed me and blocked my account because i didn't noted them about the change of my residential address, maybe there's a chance to come again and settle that issue.

Good to see you had a great time in Den Haag. I hope everything is ok with your family and so with your problems with that bank that doesn't really exist anymore.

I can imagine many of your colleagues were anti-football. In a "big" international orientated city half of the people don't care about football anyway. In a city like Amsterdam it is the same. Only during big football events like for instance the European championships they care about football.

Another aspect why some people in Den Haag are/were anti-football was because especially in Den Haag football was dead for a long time. You only heard negative things about Den Haag. On birthday parties you always have to defend yourself supporting a club like Den Haag.

The play-offs at the end of last season a division lower have had a positive effect as well as the current results in the Eredivisie. Still there is a long time ago Den Haag will become again the football capital in the Netherlands (like it was 100 years ago )

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Den Haag have a bigger problem with hooliganism than most if not all in the Netherlands, or have they sorted that out now?

I think they are friends with Legia Warsaw, so it would also explain a lot.

ADO are pretty much scum. A little part that is.

But so are Utrecht, Ajax, Feyenoord, Twente, Groningen, PSV, Vitesse, Roda JC.

We have the worst reputation... but today we don't have much more problems than any other club... The biggest problem now is if something happens the media blow things up!

Having said this, last hooligan clash was this summer in Wales. Den Haag , Swansea vs. Ajax and Cardiff supporters...

These guys are scum and like in any place in England most of them fight now outside the stadium somewhere at some day... Does that has anything to do with football or isn't that just the rotten society?
