What do you make of that Professor ?

That both have sucked in Spain so far Laughing

But lets be honest here, a $h!t Henry is at least 2 levels above Chevanton and the likes.

A crocked/past it/shit Henry playing for a team that negates his best qualities and in which hardly has anyone looked good in for the past 2 years scored 19 goals and had 10+ assists from mostly a wide position.

Has a healthy and on form "Cheva" ever produced anything as good as the above in a season in his life?

I tried looking up his stats and all I could find was something like 5 goals in 2 seasons Laughing Unbelievable, Is he really that bad?

All Henry's goals and assists last year were against relegation fodder Doh

Chevanton is a goal every 2 starts in Serie A, Ligue 1, UEFA Cup, Champions league and not far off in La Liga despite stop start appearances and regularly being subbed by Juande after 60 mins.

His last 4 La Liga apps:

1-0 down to Racing comes on scores and they win 2-1

1-0 to Osasuna - comes on at half time gets an assist and wins a pen to seal the game but badly injured in stoppage time so missed rest of the season.

Scored v Sporting Gijon to get them nback in teh game.

    Sealed teh game v Espanyol

How can you use the excuse that Barca don't use Henry properly when any such suggestions for Sheva were met with derision.

Even those on here that do rate him must surely acknowledge now that if he ever did have the ability he has the mentality of a natural born loser.

He is ok in the Prem and CL groups but he moves out of his safety zone and he's fucked.

Christ knows how bad he'll be when the pace goes - he has nothing else to offer.

Henry just isn't very good in tight spaces, which is what we face most of the team. He still owes big time and I can only second Pierre's criticism. Henry was almost never a decisive influence in a game.

If Sevilla, madrid, valencia, villareal(Spain top teams), racing Santander(had the 3rd best defence in la liga at the time) etc are relegation fodders then yes u are right.

As for his assists, check this one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWDMZGarOoM - Cheva can't see that pass let alone play it.

See his assist to Bojan in the CL ko stages also.

    to mention but 2

Yeah, all great teams Erm . He's mostly on the bench for a reason, trying figuring it out why Pierre... I'll help u out If u can't, just let me know.

Coz sheva couldn't run, control a ball, not to talk of his inability to make simple 5 yards passes. And Chelsea actually changed formation to accomodate him: a 4-4-2 diamond formation - similar to the one he was used to in Milan. Henry is not only playing out of position but is also playing in a completely different system he's used to. See the difference?

Are you convinced that pass was for Messi not Dos Santos ?

Messi had no intention of going to "the assister" - mind you Henry never does when he scores.

Sheva played in front of Kaka, Pirlo and Seedorf at Milan - at Chelsea he played in front of Lampard, Makelele, Essien, Ballack.

    You see the difference ?

    Think about it.

Is this the best u could come up with Question

Of course he meant the pass. As I have told u before, he's got a very good footballing brain. He's also got the ability to play inch perfect passes.

Er..I can't see how any of those players could prevent him from being able to control a simple pass, run, pass the ball in the back of the net from 1 yard, can u?

There are tons of videos of him I can't find, otherwise I'd post:

    - his fantastics assists to Sylvinho
    - that goal against prague with the outside of his boot
    - the goal against city - u know it

Sheva at Chelsea in CL ko stages:

    5 Starts (0 subs)

    2 goals

    2 assists

The hardest games to score in are CL KO phases - goals per game are incredibly low compared with domestic leagues and group phases (where Henry scores fine Wink )

    So to put it simply:

The best striker at scoring when it is hardest to score is Shevchenko.

    * all those goal you mention are nothing compared with these from Cheva:

You're lucky I can't find the goals v Salernitana and Paraguay.

Ok lets assume(U know I don't agree with it) it's indeed hardest to score in CL KO plahses, does having a better record at this stage equates to overall being better player than someone with an inferior record?

If so, I'd like to know whether u think Inzaghi is better than Ronado(Brazil).

I am not aware of Ronaldo and Inzaghi's record.

Ronaldo's will be heavily blighted by injury and he is on a different level to Sheva and henry anyway - a phenomenon.

Gossip from Revista La Liga - not a lot this week.

Barcelona derbi - Hunter and Balague (who was at Montjuic) critical of stadium security and the police respectively. Balague said flares were being thrown before the match outside the stadium by Boixos Nois and though the police escorted them to the stadium, they did nothing to get the remaining flares off them.

    Sergio Ramos=ManU story around again.

British interest behind Soriano's 35% holding in Valencia?
