No, we're nowhere near good enough for that. I always said we would be off the pace this season. But with such an easy start to the season we might at least have put up a fight until Christmas.

    1-1 FT

We're not getting a great deal of luck at the moment. Cr@p players are scoring stunning goals against us, and iffy decisions like the disallowed goal today, but the fact of the matter is that we simply aren't good enough. The occasional excellent performance counts for nothing without consistency, and that we nearly lost our third league game of the season despite not playing a single good team shows that Wenger got things badly wrong in not strengthening the team during the summer.

Yep, after Fergie's comments and Giggs performance midweek in the centre I'd be very surprised if he started on the wing. So probably be -

    -------- Fletcher ---- Giggs

    --------------- Anderson

    -- Ronaldo ---------------- Rooney

    --------------- Berbatov

That or a basic 442 with either Fletcher or Anderson on the wing.

I think if I was an Arsenal fan, I'd see the CL as the best chance.

Things being what they are, you can sleepwalk your way into a top 4 place, so to become the 1st London team to win the CL is a pretty good and very achieveable target.

Two legitimate league goals disallowed already. Who would have guessed. I suppose the 'those' decisions have to come early this season otherwise it would be too obvious like last season.

Sincerely hope it's Anderson doing the wing play. Though with Evra playing, chances are it's Fletcher doing the bulk on the right side.

Yep. If we get a lot of fortune and a kind draw, then we can go far in the CL. We're probably more suited to European football at the moment. It's still a long shot though, because there are plenty of teams who are stronger than us, and who have the squads to cope with the demands of the CL at that stage of the season.

We should still get 4th spot comfortably, and maybe even 3rd if Liverpool lose form for any extended period of time, but I don't have any confidence in the team winning anything this season, and they need to be careful because they could get drawn into a battle for 4th if they keep dropping points so easily to Cr@p teams like Sunderland and Hull and a team like Villa step up a level.

Maybe three minutes would have been sufficient. We scored after 92 and a half minutes I think, so not much cause for controversy there. It was a late equaliser, but not dubiously so.

Brown scores, Blackburn complain about what they perceived as a foul on the goalkeeper. In truth they should have dealt with it better, regardless of whether it was a foul or not.

He's not even playing Man Target. It's their back up keeper Jason Brown.

Can't see what complaint the keeper can have there, it was Santa Cruz who was pushing Vidic into Brown. We started slowly but the last 10 minutes we've been fairly on top.
