Too many wasted chances. They couldn't seem to get that final touch on the ball that would put it away. We just couldn't create many chances and when we did we couldn't finish them.

Marchisio also suspended for the second leg.
Casiraghi is gonna hope Balotelli and De Ceglie are healthy for the return leg.

Sorry mate, Balotelli won't be able to get his first hatrick for Azzurrini cause he was sub for Osvaldo at 65'.
It was a good move in my opnion, Balotelli was getting a little fatigued and was flirting with a card a couple of times

He has that attitude problem... one of the negatives, but more than makes up for it thru talent.

The expected Azzurrini team for Euro U21 next year:

Thats an amazingly strong squad... one of the best I have seen from Italy U21s... even players like Pozzi, Paonessa and Lupoli stand no chance of making the squad, its that strong.

Casiraghi better deliver the trophy, I can see these kids forming a large part of the senior squad in 5-6 years. Hell, I would like to see this team take on Lippi's senior team - I think the Azzurini can surprise the Azzurri
