the problem is not the players (they have many internationals at the back) but Schaaf himself

he just told the media that the system he plays was alright , after all , their analysis showed that in 95% of all goals conceded Bremen were in "Überzahl" when under attack

Allofs just thinks the Werder players are not agressive enough

it might have to come down to Born having to sack BOTH Allofs AND Schaaf

Erhaben über jeden Zweifel ist für Klaus Allofs die Arbeit des Trainers. Das untermauerte er mit folgender Einschätzung: "Das hier erst gar keine Missverständnisse aufkommen, ich sehe keine Veranlassung die Arbeit des Trainers in Frage zu stellen. Ich weiß wie Thomas arbeitet und bin von ihm absolut überzeugt."

if Schaaf is no longer good enough, Born has to get rid of the TWO

Werder can hardly replace Merte, Naldo, Fritz, Wiese... at the same time

Well, I think a few new players could change a lot. And Mertesacker is out of question anyway.

There´re many different opinions, Otto. Some want to replace Schaaf, but that´s a small minority. Others think that after 5 very successful years a bad season is natural. Most fans think we need a few new players.
