    how about he blame the big clubs that buy his best players? that's more plausible. too bad they don't show Sporting games on cable tv in the US...someday someday....

    They did have it on satellite... Portuguese language channel "SPT".. but I was told they´re not doing so this season...

    Personally, I think Sporting should launch it´s own channel; they have enough supporters throughout the world to justify such a venture.

    Does it matter where the money comes from?
    Are Canadian and American dollars not currency? I don't see what difference it makes if there are more people wathcing outside of Portugal than in...

    In any case, any internationally televised club specific channel will draw more money outside of Portugal than inside, or are we about to dispute the fact that those outside the country have more money to spend on frills like a sports channel?
