No surprise. I would have bet 100€ on that a few weeks ago that he will join hoffenheim. They where searching for a new keeper for quiet some time.

Good move for me , they needed a keeper and he can revive his career.

His own damn fault. He should have fired his agent years ago--though I'm glad to hear he apparently did so a few months ago (better late than never...).

Good move by both parts. i had high hopes ever since Stuttgart started their good run some years ago. he stalled a bit already before he joined Valencia. perhaps this will be what he needs. i haven't seen Bundesliga too much this season but Hoffenheim keep this up they will be worth the check. even if they make Cl their test will come next year i feel.

It's a pretty decent deal for both parties. He should suit Hoffenheim's style. The only concern for them is if signing a relatively big name player will upset the balance, particularly when I haven't heard of their goalkeeper performing poorly so far this season.

Hildebrand gets to play for a side with a good chance of CL football and return to a league he is comfortable with. I can understand why he might be reluctant to try a new league after his trying time in Spain.
