Re: John Bostock...
If Wilshere is going to be at least as good as Messi then Bostock is going to be better than Cruyff.

I think we can all be certain that in ten years time Bostock and Wilshere will be the lynchpins of the england midfield

Doubt it - in 10 yrs, Lampard & gerrard will still be 1st choice CM under Joe Kinnear I reckon.

Lampard's game wouldn't have to change much either. He can sit in the D, eating his pie on his crutches and just wait for the ball to come down so that he can kick it at a defender and score off a deflection

Well, Wilshere's already got that move down so he's halfway there...

Kazenga LuaLua tbh.
A quick wiki tells me Bostock has played 4 senior games in his life, and Wilshere has played 1. Why are we hyping them again?

No he hasn't
He did play against all-conquering, treble-winning Barcelona though

Because of 2 long range shots?
Bicfalvi was 20 years old at that time and that was a Liga 1 game. Just because he can shoot doesn't mean he is a good player.

Re: John Bostock...
The thread was started ages ago to take the piss out of Prof (he created one hyping Jack Wilshere). Truth is, Bostock has some talent, but who knows how good he'll be, he might not make it at all.
