Everton are so rigid. There's never any real rom for change. No wingers and a lack of creativity apart from Arteta.

With regards to Arteta there is no team for him to go to at the moment. Everton and Villa are the best teams outside the 'top 4' and there's no real room for him at Spurs. He'd suit West Ham IMO but they aren't as good as Everton.

Howard isn't the worst at penalties. In the MLS when he was there they had a shoot out if a any game was a draw, so he should be used to them.

He could play for any of the top 4, I reckon. Maybe there's not an obvious slot open, which would warrent spending the 20m it'd cost, but he's good enough.

Arteta has a shot at a starting place in United, chelsea and arsenal's team

There is plenty of room for him at spurs but he clearly shouldn't want to go there

Alonso would've been yellowed there, if he hadn't been booked already.

That was my point. We could do with him at Arsenal but when Cesc is back he'd be benched straight away.

Everton are better at squeezing out points and shutting teams down, but in terms of creativity, West Ham are a far superior side.

Arteta is a more EPL experienced version of Modric. If we ever end up selling Luka, Arteta would make a great replacement

United it's arguable with the midfielders they have but not at Chelsea. Ahead of Lamps, Ballack and Essien? I've already mentioned the problem with Arsenal.

I'd prefer Cahill. Arteta is a decent player, but think he's similar to Carrick and Scholes in what he does, but those two are better at it.

That's the thing Everton have been pretty consistent for the past 3 seasons whereas West Ham have only picked up points recently and there defence is nowhere near as good as Everton's.

He'd add a lot of creativity to West Ham's side no doubt but would he want to sacrifice a Top 6 finish for Top half (No offence to Deano) Laughing

Arteta wouldn't fit any of the top 4 midfields other than Arsenal's , and even then Fabregas would return and take his place.

Best place for Arteta is Everton - imagine how unspeakably painful it would be to watch them without him, bad enough as it is without having another slighty superior Stoke hanging about in the top half of the table
