Yeah I doubt Spain will spank England at all. Allthough Del Bosque has continued improving the team bit by bit Capellos teams tend to be quite cagey. Strange that Capello hasn't called up Young but they still get good crosses from Downing and Becks so I can defo see Heskey giving trouble to Puyol and Agbonlahor. England won't be able to compete with the ball but if they can use the flanks well and get crosses they can definently give Spain trouble so this could be a very good game.Ray Parlour wrote:Messiah wrote:just looking at the squads england will be lucky if the can keep the deference to 3 goals

England have a better defence than Spain

I'd say Iniesta directs the play for Barca more than Xavi, not saying he doesn't. But Iniesta is usually the one running with the ball making those defence splitting passes.

I think Iniesta is a player for the last 1/3. I don't think he's as useful playing deeper and orchestrating the play.

and that equals directing the play,
i guess it kaka that directs the play for milan and not pirlo
i thought you knew football.
iniesta/guddy/kieta are the ones that support the strikers, (you know make the late runs, try to find the ST with a splitting ball) xavi is the one that takes the ball of the DMED and dictates the play, when he says fast we go fast, when he says slow we slow down the play, he is the one that very thing goes though.
he was shit at it last year which is why i wanted him to be sold, be he is back to his best this season
iniesta only does this when xavi isn't playing.
