What is Adams record with Wycombe and Portsmouth combined anyone know? Just i read he won something like 8 in 42 for them. So he must be on around 10 wins in 60 games as manager. He nearly fucking got a win over Milan

He just got sacked halfway through my 2nd season in a FM game, I've led west Ham to FA and LC wins, and was the front runner but told them to fuck off, lol.

All the teams that didn't get to play Portsmouth with him in charge will be gutted. Just saw he got Wycombe relegated to league two. Then when they got near the relegation places in league two he resigned. Any other person and they'd not be allowed near a job again. But i bet some club hires him again in a few years

I don't know, Adams was doing an awful job with Portsmouth, but I think he became their manager at a bad time and I think they'll need to make an excellent appointment if they're to halt the slide this season. There must be quite an air of despondency around the club - their manager walked out on them, considering progress, or even maintenance of the same level impossible now that they don't have money to spend; they've lost three of their best and brightest players in Muntari, Defoe and Diarra; they've been falling in the league and suffered the late defeat over the weekend.

I'm not sure they have much pace and creativity in the midfield and attack anymore, given the departures, given that Kranjcar has his injuries and he isn't playing that well, and Utaka has struggled in his time with the club. They at least sought to strengthen their central midfield in January, and Mullins and Basinas should make them more solid in the centre; and from an attacking point of view, if Pennant and Crouch click, that will lead to goals; on the other hand I guess there's a question whether the likes of Basinas, Gekas and Pele will settle under a new manager. Defensively, Distin and Campbell don't seem to be performing that well - Distin doesn't seem so interested (and the same may be the case for Kranjcar, for instance), whilst Campbell is probably past his best - and James is having a poor season in goal.

I still see them scrapping against relegation this season - I don't see them pulling away at all easily under a new manager.
