    latest horror news

Jol seems to be tempted to get VDV back to HSV Shocked affraid Shocked

Hamburg is doing BRILLIANTLY WITHOUT the overhyped fatso who cannot cut it in Madrid, and now Jol seems to be willing to spend a lion-share of the de Jong income on the Holländer scratch Neutral

    http://www.sport1.de/de/fussball/fussball_bundesliga/artikel_68917.html

meanwhile, Jol says in Welt am Sonntag

"most people outside Germany do not realise HOW BIG HSV really is.

in England, for instance, only VERY FEW EPL clubs are as big as Hamburg"

    <Ale> Biggrin

VERY FEW would probably mean TWO or THREE in German

    @Englanders

could you please help us NON-ENGLISH-NATIVE-SPEAKERS and explain what "VERY FEW" means ?

    thanks Very Happy

in the German translation this would mean Arsenal are a LESSER and Chelsea a similarly big club, I suppose <Ale>

    as for Poldi

before the Berlin game, Klinsi already said that IF everybody was fit, Poldi would NOT be a member of the squad

now Klinsi admits that Toni had a niggling Achillis or Tendon problem for about a week, yet Poldi still did not make the sqaud

the fact that Donavan only returned from his USA-Mexico game on Friday (jet-legged), was of little interest to Klinsi as well

he just threw Poldi OUT , the Pole had to watch the Berlin match in front of his TV in Munich Shocked

Poldi now says that he has been FULLY FIT FOR SOME TIME Shocked

    http://www.sport1.de/de/fussball/fussball_bundesliga/artikel_68817.html#comments

which again, begs the question, why he was NOT PART of the Germany SQUAD against Norway Question Shocked Mad Doh

allez, metze, chrissi and anglo might want to apologise for finding complaints about Poldi's ommission SILLY Yikes Wink

when clearly they WERE NOT Biggrin

    +

the Berlin boss, Dieter Hoeness says, that the club now has some financial "wiggle room"

ie: about 8 million Euro to spend next summer Biggrin

    welcome to Bundesliga poverty <Ale>

he also says that ONE SEASON BEFORE Pato went to Milan for over 20 million, he was offered to Berlin for 3.5 millin Euro, but they did not have the money at the time Doh Laugh

    FAR TOO FAST for Klinsi

he could not keep up with the pace and sold the whole lot of them cheers

Hoffenheim just approched Bayern in the winterbreak to buy their LATEST STRIKER SENSATION

cannot remember, the chap is either called Wagner or Müller

anyway, Klinsi said "NO, we will not let him PLAY in Hoffenheim and WIN THE HEARTS OF THE FOOTBALL WORLD, when he is perfectly capable of sitting on a Bavarian bench"

meanwhile, Toni Kroos, U-17 World Cup BEST OFFICAL PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT is now loaned out to Bayer

yet I still predict that his younger BRO, FELIX, will become bigger faster

in fact, Felix, will even surpass McIlleroy

    I must say

Liverpool and Chelsea are VERY lucky that they did NOT get Klinsi

otherwise Jol would have said : "only ManU are BIGGER than HSV these days"

    Laugh

meanwhile, Sportbild, whose chief Bayern Munich reporter is no longer allowed to attend club press conferences, are "correctly" turning on Klinsi for throwing out Poldi

    cheers

    http://www.sportbild.de/sportbild/generated/article/fussball/2009/02/15/11693200000.html

in the next few weeks, the Klinsi-Hoeness relationship will be tested to breaking point

Klinsi is clearly IN LOVE with Donavan

and wants to buy him in MARCH

    the problem is

Donovan costs 8 million Euro, which is only slightly less than what Bayern paid for Poldi, and considerably more than what they paid for Olic (NOTHING)

word has it, Hoeness is NOT keen to buy the American

Klinsi will lose this battle and the relationship to Hoeness will become strained

    then

    Klinsi has to PARDON Poldi

and when the lad scores his first goals, Klinsi will look like a HUGE fool for having benched the lad

    Ale

Germany will regain its lost strength and dominate the world once more

    cheers

just like in FEMALE SKIING right now

since when is 30% the equivalent of "very few"?

    Laugh

the truth is there are only TWO big clubs in the EPL

    Liverpool and ManU

Newcastle have the POTENTIAL to BECOME a big club

    in the BUndesliga you have

    1. Bayern Munich

    2. HSV

    3. Dortmund

    4. Schalke

    5. Borrusia Mönchengladbach

the equivalent of Newcastle would be Cologne

    ie

5 to 2 for the Bundesliga

that's what Jol meant, I guess Ale Laugh

interestingly, the finest Dutch managers have always been keen to work at these top five German clubs (even if Bayern were never interested)

    think about it

    ------------------------------------

meanwhile, Klinsi experiences a HUGE setback cheers

his campaign to install Donovan as "the number 3 striker" has just been blown to pieces

first, by Hoeness, who just DECLARED that Poldi would be back in the SQUAD (note that Klinsi , only a few days back, said that with everybody being fit, Poldi would NOT make the squad)

    now

Dummenigge "wishes" that Poldi would get back pronto Biggrin

    http://www.sport1.de/de/fussball/fussball_bundesliga/artikel_69552.html

saying, "Poldi is a German international and we have responsibilites towards him" cheers

just imagine Klinsi choking on his bio-Müsli with Californian hazelnuts when he read that over breakfast

Dummenigge then effectively cuts off Klinsi's balls completely by saying that Donovan was NOT a real candidate to join Bayern in March , they already had Klose, Toni, Olic and the fourth position would go to a talent with potential; the same day Bayern announce that U-20 international Müller, a product of the endless Bayern conveyor belt of talents , has signed a pro-contract

Klinsi's campaign to lobby for Donovan and favour him over Poldi is now effectively dead

indicating that the top brass are taking control to salvage this season

meanwhile, Hoeness is impressed at what Favre does in Berlin, saying that with the players at their disposal they "should not really be able to punch at the top"

    BUT THEY ARE Biggrin

    my prediction now is

IF Bayern do not win the BUndesliga this season, whilst NOT reaching the CL semis either, Klinsi is OUT

you heard it here first <Ale>

Bayern gave pro-contracts to TWO kids from their own youth

chances are we will never hear anything about them again

those two + Baumjohann are the latest talents to die an early death on the Bayern bench

    Doh

they are currently destroying Rensing as well

you just CANNOT put a kid with ZERO match experience in charge of "Kahn's goal"

    Yikes

Rensing will break under this pressure and leave Bayern at the end of the season

admittedly, he was REALLY stupid; the lad could easily have left Bayern to play for a lesser club

Sepp Maier now had a go at Klinsi's goalie manager , Junghans, saying the training regime was FAR TOO SOFT and ALL WRONG

Maier is strongly defending Rensing and threatens to throw a major league hissy-fit , if Bayern kick out the kid

Well Kroos made his debut for Bayer (without the n)in a friendly . Think Bayern should be the last club talented German youngsters should go to. Would make sense if their agents advise them the same. It's a ridiculous short term gain option (bonusses, higher salary, more prestige), but in the long run it's very bad for their carreers.

They don't just ruin German talent, but any talent really. Breno deserves to play at least some more games.

Difficult to know where to start with all this bizarrely HSV-obsessed twaddle

but suffice it to say, the Poldi debate was never about Bayern – we all know he has been horrendously treated there – but whether he was being treated with disrespect by the national manager. and he wasn't

and if you think Chelsea is a bigger club than Arsenal (I won't mention HSV) you know nothing about anything

    I never said that

Chelsea is a NOTHING club: totally artificial

    a bit like Wolfsburg

Arsenal is certainly nowhere near HSV as a club, even if they have more money and more famous players

    I stand by it

there are TWO BIG CLUBS in England

    Liverpool and ManU

followed by semi-big clubs like Newcastle and , maybe, ManCity, that is quickly becoming a plastic club though
