well done Villa, you lasted a bit longer than Hull but now it's time to tumble down the table to about 13th where you belong Ale

With a better manager they might have had a shot at the CL places, can't see many of this squad staying in the summer, maybe they'll hold onto Shory and Sidwell, possibly Brad Guzan.

    Villa are incredibly one dimensional.

The fact that they are 7 points above us shows how shite we have been this season.

'3rd best squad in the league' - yeah right!

    lol!

I think they have numerous ways to be or play, but they haven't had a good week. Martin O'Neil was known for long ball at Celtic, but Villa usually can play good stuff to an extent. At the end they didn't really have many ideas, but i still see them getting 4th and improving. New manager always usually gets a result.

Yeah hoofing the ball upfront, or passing it wide to Young or Milner to cross.

On days like this it looks very limited. But in general it works well and you can mix it up a lot. Barry can create through the middle, they can be good on the counter, play it long, play with lots of crosses. But today it seemed they just had long balls to Heskey. But it's distorted. If you even saw Man Utd on some days, it would seem like all the team does is cross, but it's not true of course.

?? Half of the season your sub bench is 17 year old kids who have never played a premiership game. Villa only had Carew to bring on today as a sub who could influence the game.

Liverpool's squad is better than both Arsenal's and Villa's. How is that in doubt?

I'm sure you'll blame injuries, but you knew before buying nasri, rosicky etc that they can never play a full season. I'm pretty sure a fit benayoun is better than Rosicky on crutches. You seem pretty deluded.

None of your >>>> or <<<<< makes any difference to the fact that the core of our side is stronger than yours.

    I'll repeat

We have a far superior goalkeeper

We have a better, more consistent defence with more squad depth and experience

We have a better, more consistent central midfield with more squad depth and experience

And we have one of the best strikers in the world.

1511: GOAL Bolton 2-0 West Ham
West Ham just have not started here and Johan Elmander turns over a decent cross from the right, the Hammers fail to clear their lines and Kevin Davies slots into the far corner.

1510: GOAL Bolton 1-0 West Ham
Jack Collison concedes a free-kick 22 yards out and Matty Taylor steps up to curl a beauty up and over the wall and into the top-ish corner of Rob Green's net - though the keeper's positioning may have left a little to be desired. Shocked Shocked Shocked
