Russia I can see where you get from but Ukraine??
Also Italy have been gaining strength as I see it since 06 and as long as Inter/Milan/Juve remain strong then they will represent. Of course in a sense that is not the most important thing. Still think Italy outside the big 3 is quite strong.

Reina is the 2nd best Spanish keeper, Arteta.
Arebeloa is probably as good a fullback as Spain has got, who is better than him Ramos, Capdevilla ?

I forgot about Reina. Arteta is 'ok' but he's hardly a big talent considering he done quite poorly in Spainand has never been called up for the national side.

Arbeloa is ok I guess, but again I'd hardly describe him as one of Spains big talents. Quite low profile and wasn't particularly coveted in Spain before he went to Liverpool (bit like Arteta). Ramos and Capdevilla are better, and he's no better than the likes of Narvarro,Iraola etc

    Question

Nah, England will implode soon. Italy are in decline, but it will help them in the long run.

I do agree with Russia and the Ukraine.

Arteta is more than ok, he would get in most CL chasing pack (almost all) in the La Liga, he is not helped playing in a position Spain is loaded and they decide to play a Brazilian there than him.
Who is better than him in teams other than Barcelona, RM (expect Senna who is not Spanish) and Spanish, heck he can easily break into RM team.
Arebeloa is a very good fullback, yeah probably not better than Ramos and Capdevilla but that is not an area Spain are generally blessed.

Senna and Arterta are two different types of players. The likes of Xavi, Iniesta and Cesc are the ones keep Arterta out of the national side.

Arteta is competing with AM's like Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc, Sergio Garcia, Cazorla, Silva, Mata, Vicente, Joaquin, etc

The point he is hardly a prized asset when he hasn't even had a sniff with the national side at 27/28. I'm not saying he isn't a good player though.

As for Arbeloa is is a solid player, like the Spanish Wayne Bridge and the sort of player that most national sides teams have, who performs solidly but never makes a name for himself.

Anyway, I'm not even sure why you are even contesting this. The vast majority of Spains brightest/biggest talents play in Spain. Likewise with English and Italian talents.

Agree with this but more Spanish stars play out of country than English and Italians and if Villa and Silva move outside could start a trend.

IMO Arbeloa is average full-back. The fact that he plays for Liverpool is the reason he gets picked ahead of Iraola, Javi Venta or Angel.

All of those players play much further forward than Arteta. Arteta can drop a lot deeper in midfield. I think he is a bit tougher that people give him credit for. He certainly defends better than Xavi or Iniesta. And he reads the game very well, he intercepts a lot of balls. I think he deserves a chance in the Spanish national team and I wouldn't mind having him at Real Madrid either.

Bullshit, that's there entire 1st team, where would they get money to replace them, if all of the income from their sale, will be used to repay debts.

i wouldnt been surprised if valencia worked out things by the summer, i don't have to sell more then 3/4 players.
