You dutchies should all be granted English citizenship anyways... the dutch league these days is anyways like an alternate "Coca Cola Championship" for all practical purposes, they should allow some teams from there to get promoted to the EPL ok Razz

the last time Inter made a European Cup final Biggrin Wink

Yeah, it used to be a great league... but of late all dutchies have started supporting English teams, the dutch clubs have become feeder clubs for EPL, etc etc... why not make the official announcement? Razz

Yes the Premier League is better than Serie A at the moment; on Wednesday night (hopefully) the English champions with a Dutchman in goal would prevail over the Italian champions.

I can hardly answer your question, Blue. I supported for both clubs since I was a 5 yrs old, believe it or not.

    Erm

Its ridiculous how people can support two clubs equally, it just doesnt work like that.

Nothing like a bit of glory hunting hey.

I could never understand how someone can support two clubs... I can maybe understand if you support one 95% and the other 5%... anyways, to each is own.

I like some other clubs, but I can only support Inter - there is no comparison... now and forever. That is one thing that will never change.

Surely you're more intelligent than that and can put things into context. You're actually more pissed off that this season you had for the first time in ages a really good chance to win the league and you started faltering just after Rafa had his massive rant as well. Plus it doesn't help when this is the season we catch up to make it 18-18 in league titles. Sad

what are you blabbering on about now?

Even if we had continued with the same form from before the Stoke game United would still be clear at the top with a game to spare. I really don't know what your point is, or who you are to question my intelligence. Get back in your comfort zone Spanky.

    Inter formation:

    Bluenine
    Bobo - Glenn - ?? - ??
    Six - Abundance - Ballack - TM
    Pierre - ??

We need a more consistent striker upfront, Pierre is great at attacking but also goes missing for large periods of the game Wink

Agree. I hate both the managers, and their style of football even more. Perhaps the purple nosed drunkard a bit more. I like Maicon, Julio cesar, Ibra, Figo, Cambiasso, Zanetti, and Vieira (more than 5 players definitely) in Inter, to just Evra, and Tevez (barely 2) in Man utd. Somehow the skanky arrogant attitude of Man utd players, coach, and fans make everyone turn against them. I think.

I think the media will proberbly support Inter but they will have a field day if Inter lose and Mourinho looks bad. Either way im hoping the ref has a bad game because then Mourinho has an excuse if he loses.

I hope the referee has a good game.... the last 3 games that we have played in the CL KO stages, there have been too many poor calls against us. Hope it averages out in this one! Wink

Given everyones love for referees, you'll be glad to know this guy is in charge of the match :

Wolfgang Stark (born 20 November 1969 in Landshut), is a German football referee. He has refereed matches in Champions League and qualifications to the European Football Championship and the World Cup. In 2007, he refereed at least two matches at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup including Portugal versus The Gambia and the controversial semi-final between Chile and Argentina.

He was questioned for his performance overseeing the Chile—Argentina match in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, having "lost control of the match early" [1] and for issuing seven yellow cards (out of nine) and two red cards against the Chilean team during the match.[2] In total he issued 53 fouls, 30 of which he charged to Chile.[3]

Stark is no stranger to controversy. In the March 2004 match between Barcelona and Celtic, Stark issued three red cards.[4]

Following the match Stark and his colleagues were surrounded by livid Chilean players who were restrained by members of the Toronto Police. Stark then had to be escorted off of the pitch and into the dressing room tunnel by police officers for fear that he would be attacked by the crowd and/or Chilean players at the National Soccer Stadium.[5] Stark's performance is connected to a further ugly incident, in which Chilean players, still angry after losing the match, fought with and were pepper-sprayed by police officers outside of the stadium. The players were temporarily held inside the stadium by the police for several hours and were released without being arrested.[5]

Chilean striker Nicolás Medina hinted that he felt that the referee was favoring the Argentine team, stating that "Eleven against eleven, the game would have been much more fair."[6] Added to this is the perception that the Argentine players were able to employ "diving" tactics and "theatrics"[6] to influence the referee's calls. One glaring example of this resulted in the first ejection of the game, where the Argentinian player, Mercado, "grabbed his face and rolled around on the ground for a bit pretending to be in pain. It worked."[7] The player who tackled him, Medel, was red carded.[7]

Stark was selected as a referee for the 2008 Summer Olympics soccer tournament in Beijing, in which he issued a third minute red card to a United States player versus Nigeria in final pool play.

Inter are utterly useless on the disciplary stage even with decent referees, they don't stand a chance with this guy.
