Man United are crumbling!!!

+ the penalty. Difficult to call a guy a poacher who is rarely if ever poaching. He's just got amazing expectations on him and he's below par so it looks worse. He played well in the Cc final & v Inter but not so much yesterday.

His dribbling is never that good. He is good at his speed and 'scoring goals in many ways' ability.

My main problem regarding Ronaldo is more how pundits/commentors see him. They believe the hype that he is somehow this super dribbler or latin type player but if you watch the games he isn't. He is a great goalscoring threat without a doubt but except for this he doesn't add alot.

Why roll your eyes? He was called the best in the world last season and awarded as the best player in the world for last season because he quite clearly was. He was making a big difference and being highly effective in a lot of games.

This season he's been poor in comparison but I don't think many people are claiming him to be the best in the world on current form.

Ronaldo is too predictable IMO. Aurellio handled him extremely well because he did what all defenders should do against him - stand off him, don't dive in and when he's finished doing his step overs then simply put the foot in as he tries to knock it forward and every time the defender will win the ball.

If you compare that to Torres on form it is completely different because no one quite knows what to expect from him, will he try and take on the defender? turn him? knock it over him and then burst past him with pace? I think Ronaldo is more one dimensional at the moment.

Eh i don't know what Torres can do that Ronaldo cant. Liverpool double/tripled up on Ronaldo who had an awful game. Torres played well but really profitted from rare errors

I think a lot of it is Torres being unpredictable even to himself. tbh. His touch isn't consistent, but he has the physique & speed to react to it better than who he is marking.

Agreed, he isn't that skillful but at times he looks quite good on the ball. However somebody with his physical qualities will always be a threat.
