If Benitez showed everyone how to get at Man. Utd's defense, surely today Hiddink showed everyone how to keep Gerrard quiet? Actually, Megson did it with Bolton a few weeks ago, putting Muamba on Gerrard, but that's the idea - closely man mark him wherever he goes.

Might have still lost but his bundles of energy, drive, combatitive nature and tackling ability was sorely missed in midfield.

Ivanovic scoring two headers from set pieces even though he normally is no where near the first team is pure Luck of the Hiddink.

Having said that though, first time this season Liverpool have been outplayed completely. Can't believe how open the game was after that first goal. We were easy on them (missed Mascherano massively) Drogba was getting the ball into his feet time after time, malouda and kalou got an easy ride for sure. It's like they have completely forgotten why we have been so successful in Europe. A first leg should never be that open. Awful.

Hard not to think that that is our season over now, given the manner of United's win last weekend.
