Hopefully SAF won't resort to that and I heard in the Cl studio from Schmeichel that SAF promised to play football in the final or in other ways play a more open game. Of course this was said before Barca reached the final so who knows.

Who gives a shit? The United fans on here prove time and time again that they know absolutely nothing about football. They don't even watch their own games half the time. My bet is that Batman will be at the cinema, lrd will be a Barca fan for the night unless United win and Park Lives will only show his face when United win on pens.

Barcelona over the course of the season have been magnificent and their fans deserve a CL trophy to show for it. United for large parts of the season have been poor and aided by refereeing decisions, their fans do not appreciate success and for this reason it is a tragedy if United win this competition.

But Barca deserve to win the CL? No.

They had a ridicilously easy group followed by Lyon and Bayern, another two weak teams.

Chelsea were the first real opposition they faced, and they luckily went through....

Your logic would suggest you didn't deserve anything, don't change it when it doesn't suit your argument. Man Utd were the best team by a mile in the semi finals, and outclassed the oppenent very professionally like the best team in the world. If United had Liverpool's route this year you wouldn't be in the final, that's for sure. How come Liverpool always get Chelsea but United don't get them until the final? Uefa don't want both of us there and it's Liverpool that are always stuck with mission impossible.

Well, its my opinion that these are the 2 best teams in europe this season. You show me a better team, and I will tell you why I think Barca and ManU are better.

As for the final, I think ManU will edge this with their classic counter attack... SAF has perfected the "catenaccio inspired" tactic over the last 2-3 years, and it really works well. SAF has matured considerably as a coach, I used to find him tactically quite naive in the 90s. In the last few years, however, he has added a few tactical variations to his style, and that is always very impressive in a coach. ManU will be very hard to break down, and their counter attacks are deadly.

However, with players like Messi on the other side, games will always be very unpredictable. Anything can happen, and Barca are certainly going to go for it.

I am reallly lookin forward to this one. It should be a quality final.

Messi will probably be completely ineffective, again....

The players that will most likely hurt Utd are Iniesta and Xavi, especially if Fletcher is missing. Not saying he's their star player, but he's a grafter and has great discipline.

Fergie will look to eliminate the threat of Farca's best players. He completely nullified Eto'o, Messi, Xavi, Deco, and Iniesta last year. He will do that again. I thought Rijkaard bottled it without ten cate's tactical inputs. He should have subbed Deco way before, and brought on poacher teary earlier. Still teary should have won it for them with a couple of good chances towards end of the game, but bottled it like usual. This year is no different, except Pep Guardiola is no plonker like Rijkaard, and will get the best out of his players. On a positive note, I'm pinning my hopes on Roo, Tevez, and Cristiano to do the job against a 3rd rate Farca defence.
