He's already played in a CL quarter finals, something Ledley King would never achieve. Actually it's better for him, the less we see of him the better we are led to believe he's.

Terry >>>>>> King. And he's got medals to prove it.

Henry rates King as only defender to tackle fairly

Thierry Henry has given the England manager, Steve McClaren, food for thought by naming Ledley King as the only defender who can get the better of him without fouling.

The Arsenal captain has been the Premiership's number one striker for a number of seasons and is arguably the best in the world. But the Frenchman admitted he had not always come out on top in derby meetings with the Tottenham defender, who had been used only occasionally in the national team by the previous manager, Sven Goran Eriksson.

He said: "I don't like defenders who hold the shirts of other players. The only defender here who doesn't do that and still gets the ball off my feet easily is Ledley King.

"He is the only guy who doesn't hold players. He will get the ball off you without you even noticing. For me, that is a good defender.

"He plays without any contact yet is somehow still strong and gets the ball without doing any fouls."

Adebayor is not my kind of player but on form there are not many better TMs around.

Bendtner is talented and has played very well for us this year. He's not a target man though.

Again Denilson has been one of our most consistent performers this year but he's been flat in the past 3 games. Fans can't get off his back because he's not a player that fits the description of the one they wanted to replace Flamini. His touch and composure are some of his strengths mate - those are the 1st qualities that stood out when he 1st put on an Arsenal shirt.

    Arshavin - ok

Nasri - ok but should be played more in the centre. I prefer him in the hole to any other Arsenal player.

    which one?

there were plenty of marginal decisions. I don't think the linesman could have been expected to see that Bendtner was marginally offside. I have no complaints.

Hardest thing for me to swallow was in the 89th minute I had pretty much given up on the game, we had a corner but I couldn't hold it in anymore, I had to go for a piss. While I was at the stall I heard a roar like a goal had been scored. I knew that it was the winner for Liverpool as we had been about to take a corner when I went in. I thought that Sky must have made a mistake when I came out but the apologetic look on my mates faces told me all I needed to know.

Arsenal didn't deserve a point and that's them out of the Champions League now so tears Chinston. The title race should be over tomorrow night but it's been fun while it lasted, and it lasted longer than I had expected.

United can afford to rest players in the league now. We dominated you, your 4 goals came from 4 chances. I doubt United's defence will allow you as many chances and I believe Arshavin is cup tied in the Champions League. Certainly a draw was a better result for you than a win, but you've basically given United carte blanch to concentrate on the Champions League.

It also makes Ferguson knocking himself out of the FA Cup all the more silly.

at home to Portsmouth? After he rested 8 first team players at the weekend?

They might but I'd be surprised, about as surprised as I am at Arsenal fans celebrating a draw like they're Spurs or something.

You've just fucked yourself in the arse Chinston, and as disappointed as I am not to take the race to the last 2 games, you will rue this night more than you celebrate it.

Why do you think we are out of the CL now Glenn?

United can afford to rest players in the league now. We dominated you, your 4 goals came from 4 chances. I doubt United's defence will allow you as many chances and I believe Arshavin is cup tied in the Champions League. Certainly a draw was a better result for you than a win, but you've basically given United carte blanch to concentrate on the Champions League.

It also makes Ferguson knocking himself out of the FA Cup all the more silly.

As Rosicky said the league is far from over. We've seen recently that United have been far from convincing and the teams they have to play still have something to play for so they're not exactly going to roll over. As for tonight we didn't really create many chances we just took what came our way.

Next week to compensate for Arshavin's absence we'll have Ade and RVP back whilst there is a possibility Djourou and Clichy could be back.

Almunia is back at the weekend also so nothing is a foregone conclusion.
