Man U will park the bus and rape Barcelona on the counter without their 2 1st choice fullbacks.

Ronaldo and Vidic against the barca defence on set pieces No

If United open it up Barca can do it, but he will string park, anderson and across the midfield and play rooney at left back again. All they then have to do is wait for the inevitable defensive mistake

United go into this one favourites

Ronaldo who scored 2 goals and created the other last night and has already scored in a CL final. Yeah, it's similar. Laughing

The intent to pass it round and not get a shot on target? It was only decent to watch when chelsea had the ball as they actually tried to score or were capable. We better beat these c**ts in the final. I hope we go for it as well. Attack them Biggrin <Ale>

They played the whole game with ten men in their own half. If that's what modern day football is evolving into I don't want to watch it.

It's not modern football. It's just how you beat Barcelona...im sure most teams will play normal decent games against each other. btu when it comes to barca they decide this is how you beat them and simply barca have no answer for it. today they got lucky but being one dimensional and not breaking down a good defence no shot on target until the goal, is pathetic Ale

If this was an Eastern European team in the CL groups the press would be decrying them as an embarrassment to the CL. But because it's against the "almighty" Barcelona it's acceptable to park the bus and make no attempt to attack.

They were one-dimensional because they lack a target-man they can hoof it up to when things get tough.

Typical Guus fucking it up in a semi Laughing

The Pique one was stonewall. Anelka flicked it round him and was about to score. Pique moves his hand up and stops it, stopping a pretty certain goal in the process.

Ballack's shot at the end was well struck and who knows if it would have gone in. Turning your back as a defender is always risky but it would have been a huge call for the ref.

Drogba missing the chance of the tie was the big moment

I don't think Pique was intentional - I didn't see a movement of the arm that was not normal for someone in motion - I don't think he even has time to intentionally handball it.

What about the joke sending off as well ?

lol! I love seeing your interpretation of ref's decisions.

There are far too many handball shouts in football.

And let's all remember Essien's goal.

As a human being it's very harsh on Lampard, Terry, Ballack, to *again* be so close yet miss out. But I don't care about them tbh.

But Essien's goal will now become a footnote, unfortunately.

Arse were weak as piss. Chelsea are far better. So you can't judge which b*stard is better based on these two games. But one thing rest assured, Messi is yet to prove against english teams, and Cristiano is yet to prove against Spanish teams.

If you defend with your arms out as Pique did and it stop the ball going through for a goal or an attack, it's a penalty.
