They genuinly appeared to be shocked when it happened though..you could hear Redknapp and Gulitt in the background just say "ohhh!"

you got it all upside-down...you're supposed to be delirious with joy in the immediate aftermath of a last-minute win, and then reflect on petty things like how good the performance was in the cold light of morning Wink

Even the penalty claim, where Abidal basically pulled Drogba's shirt off, they still claimed that he "has a reputation of going down". Shame Henry bottled this match, was looking forward to see who would come out on top between those 2.

They would have played it over and over for any player even Rooney (though they would have excused Rooney).

Dunno why people are moaning about Drogba's choice of words. It was about 9.45pm when he said that. Any kid who's still up by that time probably call their school teachers worse things.

I think our forum influenced Drogba using 'disgrace' and if you look closely, he clearly say's "MARTIN ONEILL" prior to it.

One thing i really really hate after losing this match isn't the bantering with Barcelona fans because the ones i know personally are all nice people and have accepted that they were a bit fortunate towards the end and with the penalties and that, but it's the stupid c**ts who jump on the barca bandwagon and now can't get off because they'll look stupid. such fuckign annoying dickheads. HATE THOSE c**ts. none of this is directed at people on the forum

    I feel sorry for him

but the CL refuses to go home with chelsea, it has to much history in it, to be won by roman and his billions.

you need 2/3 more years of suffering before it will change its mind.

I have a hard time feeling bad for chelsea even if they should have had at least one penalty because they played very defensive over two matches and it pleases me that it doesn't always get rewarded. Barca were fine untill the first goal and looked quite dangerous but just like yesterday we got a goal against the run of play that changed everything. After this Chelsea should have closed the game and Drogba should have done more and Pierre/TS has to admit that.

This is the worst possible final I could imagine and I would even rather have Arsenal win it then any of these two teams.I have a bet that I have to pay for a night out on the town if an english team wins the CL and now I only have Barca to cheer for. Crying or Very sad

I know we always have pretty much the same argument but I just can't get my head round the fact you think Barcelona played the better football, when Chelsea had ALL of the chances.

That's the thing for me your agenda doesn't even follow any rules or principles.

Where did I say that Barcelona played the better football. Question
What im saying is that Chelsea were playing a cowards tactic in the first game and for much of it in this game. As somebody who likes to think Chelsea is supposedly a big team they shouldn't play like one of those small teams in the Fa Cup who meets one of the big boys.

They were unlucky in this game and should have won.

but it serves then right, even when we were down to 10 men, they still had everyone behind the ball, instead of looking for the 2nd goal to kill off the game.

Whats cowardly about being in your positions, marking your runners and then trying to break quickly when you have the ball and create openings, which they did in the bucket load.

Barca have more to be ashamed about than Chelsea in this game. They were terrible.

I don't really want to bother going into this one now since we can resume it after the Cl final. Razz
