    Glenn Johnson?

Crazy Neville got a call up though, maybe Capello wants a look at him. But he's been a liability for man utd and he's clearly past it. He's behind brown, o shea and Rafael ffs.

The keepers are horrible. The rest no arguments.

Someone needs to wrap up Johnson in cotton wool. And what must Luke Young be thinking at the moment.

    Kirkland not fit or something?

    NO OWEN??? Shocked

Not much wrong with that, Neville and Heskey are obviously emarrassing but they may not play.

I think it's time to make Green number 1 aswell.

Gary Neville is easily the most ridiculous call up ever. Got no problems with Theo and SWP being in there..no Lennon though? Injury or what?

    Isnt Luke Young injured?

Does that really need answering : Wink

Green should start IMO. Johnson has been brilliant for the vast part of the season. Finally Young Very Happy About time.

Heskey, Neville, SWP and Carson lol!

Just realised Baines isn't in the squad. Bridge hasn't been that good. Turning into a closed shop again. Sad

    Lennon is injured.

He's not a footballer, he's a fraud. Cole is more talented, and i'm sure if you ask him to he will run into people and dive just as much as Heskey does.

It all depends on how you want to play, if you want to cheat and con the refs into giving you free kicks and penalties then Heskey is the way to go, if you want to play football then you look elsewhere.

    Johnson-------Ferdinand-------Terry-----------A.Cole

    ------------Rooney------------------Gerrard----------

Gabby should be there instead of Theo in truth. Scored 1 in 3 in the league whilst Walmart scored 1 in 11 from a similar position. Ale

Not sure about the similar position thing. Walcott generally plays RW when I see him, while Gabby was playing up front by himself for a fair chunk of the season, or off Carew/Heskey the rest.

Walcott hasn't done that much recently to earn a spot, but nor has Gabby.

A mate who is Villa season ticket holder said that. A lot of people were highly frustrated with his and Villa's performances post-Christmas and vented a lot of that frustration at him. He was our scape goat unfortantely, was what he said.

Every club picks scapegoats when on a losing run (or even when winning - see Voronin, Dossena, Lucas, Bellamy, Keane, Babel, Kuyt and countless other Liverpool players). Every club has idiot fans who always moan at certain players.

Gabby got scapegoated a bit, so did Heskey and others. Still he wasn't noticeably booed (on a wide scale), other than one time he was subbed.

I remember hearing on the guardian podcast that the fans didnt like that Gabby was acting as if he was already a huge success, coming to training in a Ferrari and acting cocky about town and stuff. Probably has something to do with him being singled out, even if it was only a minority of people.

So..it seems Gabby is a little bit of a knob..and didnt have a very good 2nd half to the season.

Theo had a quiet season too but isnt a knob from what ive seen.

TS decides to go with the knob.

    Ts likes knob.

Thats where ive gone with that ok
