It'd be interesting if you included assists as well, because purely from goals scored Ronaldo is superior.

Anyway, I personally think Ronaldo is overhyped (I don't think he is TBPITW) but he is amongst the very best, and I'd include Ribery in that group too.

Don't you can compare the two because Ronaldo is/has become more of a striker while Ribery creates more while also being able to score some goals. But when it comes to who I hope Perez will after it is not even close in my book. Ronaldo fits in at Man Utd perfectly because he has players playing for him and he is their only clinical player infront of goal.

Ronaldo has to have the entire team play in his service whilst Ribery makes the rest of his team play better...

Nobody who doesn't dislike Ronaldo would vote for Ribery.

Though i agree with Axe in a way, Ribery improved Bayern greatly, worthy champions with him making the rest of his team look and play better

According to league stats. Ribery 8-6 this season. Though if Ribery takes corners which i presume he does 8 is very very poor, especially in a weak league for the biggest team in that league with goalscorers like Toni around.

Fair point. If those stats are true, it's not as many as I thought. Nevertheless, I don't agree that the Bundesliga is weak. I don't think your Hoffenheims, Hamburgs, Dortmunds, Schalkes, Leverkusens, Bremens etc are any weaker than your Aston Villa's, Wigans', City, West Hams' etc.

Only a fool would deny Ribery's quality though. He is a special player, and along with Gourcuff the only that looks like doing something for France in pretty much each and every game.

Also worth mentioning he got 6 assists in the CL this season, though probably half of them came in one came. Ronaldo, Messi aside (and even they are arguable) you'll be hard pushed to find a better wide player (or any sort of 'forward' player in world football today though)

Ronaldo, by far. Whining and metrosexual attitude aside, the guy's still easily the best player in the world after Messi IMO.

That being said, if I had to choose between Real Madrid paying 40 million for Ribery and 70 million for Ronaldo, I'd go for the former.
