According to league stats. Ribery 8-6 this season. Though if Ribery takes corners which i presume he does 8 is very very poor, especially in a weak league for the biggest team in that league with goalscorers like Toni around.
Fair point. If those stats are true, it's not as many as I thought. Nevertheless, I don't agree that the Bundesliga is weak. I don't think your Hoffenheims, Hamburgs, Dortmunds, Schalkes, Leverkusens, Bremens etc are any weaker than your Aston Villa's, Wigans', City, West Hams' etc.
Only a fool would deny Ribery's quality though. He is a special player, and along with Gourcuff the only that looks like doing something for France in pretty much each and every game.
Also worth mentioning he got 6 assists in the CL this season, though probably half of them came in one came. Ronaldo, Messi aside (and even they are arguable) you'll be hard pushed to find a better wide player (or any sort of 'forward' player in world football today though)
