The speculation I've heard is that Ballack and Terry are both on £130,000. I guess Henry must be pretty high up the list as well

Rio Ferdinand is far a far better defender than Terry.

We have yet to see how Shewchenko and Ballack play in the EPL. At this moment in thime, the best by some distance is Henry.

Isn't Lampard getting a £130,000 a week contract to join Ballack and Terry? Not sure what Sheva and Henry are on.

John Terry is paid less than Ballack and Sheva.

Ballack will be on the most because he was on a free.

How, pray, do you know the intricate details of Terry/Lampard's contracts ?

This is certainly not true in the case of Lampard.

It would be a ridiculous policy anyway, since it would be hard to extend contract length.

Does anyone know Henry's wages.

I'm guessing its 100k a week plus.

I think for us it is Rio on 90k. Then a few players on 70 - 80 like Scholes & Giggs.

Apparently Gerrard is on 100k/week which would put him above Lampard atm.

Alonso's still on whatever he's on when he first arrived (GET A NEW CONTRACT SORTED OUT!) and I'd imagine that Carragher is somewhere in the region of £60,000 a week, no more than that. I think, think Alonso's on £45,000. Around that mark.

I read in the papers a couple of weeks ago than Lampard wasnt been given any more money than what he's on, after he allegedly asked to be made equal to Ballack.

Nah i think you may be right.

I just checked a few other players. It said Totti was on about 85k/week and Beckham on 80k/week, and AFAIK both are paid more than this.

Carragher sounds about right though.
