Rangers deserved their point last night. I watched the highlights and Stuttgart were poor in the second half. Rangers could have actually won the game when Lehman was beaten by Davis' strike that hit the wrong side of the post and went out of play.
Well done Rangers. Deserved and I'd expect them to either repeat the draw at home or beat Stuttgart at Ibrox. Rangers now have Sevilla at home, a difficult game but one they can maybe pick up a point from, and then they play Unirea in Glasgow, a game I'd expect them to win.
If they can draw against Sevilla and win against Unirea they'd be in a decent position to qualify from the group.
Only problem I can see is that their squad is quite thin and if they pick up injuries and suspensions they might struggle to replace experienced players with quality or experience.
We'll see. I'd like to see them progress this year.
