Last season only 5 players got over 12 goals, and two of them were Gerrard + Ronaldo. This season, after only 6/7 games, the top scoring chart already looks like this:
Top 10 are all strikers (although Rooney fills in at LB) and if they keep up anywhere near this rate, will all be comfortably in double figures, and several should be looking at 20+ - a tally which not a single player scored last season.
Who will end up top? Is it just a matter of a few people in purple patches who will fade? Have defences got worse?
