Arsenal deserved the win because you always get what you deserve unless there is a travesty of refereeing that influences the outcome.

A definite pen not given Gallas on gerrard but Liverpool went 1-0 up after that so not influential.

I have never heard someone looking for a story that isn't there as much as Andy Gray did today.

Arsene Wenger changed things at HT scratch

No, the game was changed by a slow reaction from Glen Johnson and the fact that Liverpool are, at the moment, the only EPL team more guaranteed to go to pieces mentally upon conceding an equaliser than Arsenal.

Ashavin was woeful until his brialliant goal.

Torres and Gerrard were shit but will get none of the blame - Torres missed a sitter and Gerrard was such a petulant c**t.

Not since Dennis Wise have I seen a midfielder trying to ref the game like Gerrard was today.

I thought Liverpool's 2nd half performance was as bad as it gets - Benitez should have had Aquilani and Lucas in the opposite positions so Aquilani could take the ball off the defenders and find Gerrard with Lucas pressing higher up the pitch.

Can't really fault Rafa for this one

Howard Webb, luck and Glenn Johnson will have to do instead

You've been shit throughout this 2nd half..and he had only 2 attacking options on the bench.

Same players on the pitch who dominated the first half Coop

Luck plus Howard Webb (not giving the most obvious pen you will see and penalising a perfectly good Masch tackle before the 1st Arsenal goal) gave Arsenal the lead. Changed the game and we were awful after that.

Rafa isn't getting any blame for this one

Wenger obviously got his team to play better with his team talk, Rafa let his team rest on their hardys.

Then having no options other than the french kid and the forever injured water hero is pretty shit. We all knew these problems would come around during the season, apart from this fat beardo cuntonio.

Pens dont get given, thats life, Gerrard will learn not to cry wolf from now on. As eventually they just let the wolf eat right into your DJ raping face.

I can't believe we won having played so poorly. We were better in the second half, if nothing else, and weren't under too much pressure after taking the lead. Unbelievably good weekend for us now (as long as we don't have any injury problems). Arshavin shows his worth again. Even when not playing well he has the ability to create something out of very little. Still lots of room for improvement.

Cesc and Verm (MoTM) post match interview, apparently AW gave them the bollocking of their lives during HT.

Vermaelen has this habit of looking away from the camera or constantly touch his face during interviews. He's obviously rather shy.

Being realistic.... we need a miracle.

Were not going to get 4th, were not going to win the fa cup, or the Europa league, All hope is lost. Unless Alonso, Messi and Kaka decide they wont to join Liverpool then were going to the Championship.

Liverpool just look so bad, i cant believe how many times they are taking the lead at Anfield only to throw it away, Lyon, Brum, City, Fiorentina and Arsenal...its crazy. Just 3 wins in 15 is laughable and they have lost 6 in the league...i really think for the first time this season they might not finish top 4.

You mean they've being doing that for a while ?

I thought it was Arsene Wenger's half-time team-talk and tactical changes that did it scratch

We are a naive team. We go to big 4 teams away from home and allow them to hit us on the break. Pool's best chances in the game were all as a result of us committing too many men forward and Pool breaking out with quick counters. We should have been the team profiting from Pool committing men forward, we were the away, yet we tried to play as if we were at home. Very naive.

Glad we got this one out of the way cheers

Such an irritating team to play against - don't think there's a better pressing team around.

But u could see in the 2nd half the best way to play them is to press them, they'd all just pass it backwards to their defenders who'll lump it forward.

    This one is for Pierre:

Didn't u see the numerous longballs into our box + some vital blocks and challenges?

Standard EPL defending that you see week in, week out from Nelsen, Zayatte, Dunne etc.

They can win u headers but will always be a bit out of positition, so will miss out making those vital blocks or challenges.

    Vermaelen was a rock!

    Simferopol 2 - 3 Dynamo Kiev
    2 - 3 90' FT
    1 - 2 45' HT

    Goals
    8' - Artem Milevskiy
    29' - Andrej Shevchenko
    Vasil Gigiadze - 41'
    Lucky Idahor - 65'
    82' - Artem Kravets

    Salute
