You mean when Diaby fell over and the referee decided Arsenal needed some help to score a goal?

Exactly like that, couldn't have put it any better myself. I was actually thinking during the game what it could be compared to and you've got that one spot on.

Today there's Newcastle-Boro in the Championship and Wolves-Burnley in the Premier League...sounds odd to put it that way and not its reverse Laughing

1305: Wolves boss Mick McCarthy brings back most of the side that beat Tottenham last week and were controversially rested in the defeat by Manchester United in midweek. McCarthy makes nine changes with keeper Marcus Hahnemann and defender Kevin Foley the only two to keep their places from the loss at Old Trafford. Burnley manager Owen Coyle keeps faith with the side that drew 1-1 with Arsenal in midweek with striker David Nugent and midfielder Robbie Blake having to be content with a place on the bench.

    1303: Wolves v Burnley line-ups:
Wolverhampton: Hahnemann, Stearman, Craddock, Berra, Ward, Foley, Henry, Milijas, Jarvis, Ebanks-Blake, Doyle.
Subs: Hennessey, Elokobi, Surman, Iwelumo, Mancienne, Maierhofer, Castillo.
Burnley: Jensen, Mears, Carlisle, Caldwell, Jordan, Alexander, Elliott, McDonald, Bikey, Eagles, Steven Fletcher.
Subs: Penny, Duff, Gudjonsson, Blake, Nugent, Thompson, Guerrero.
    Referee: Martin Atkinson (W Yorkshire)

watching this match a little bit, not surprising that Burnley gain only 1 point from road games until today - they leave awfully lot space for opposition to build an attack, even average midfielders of Wolves can easily pass the ball between themselves and get closer to penalty area. Can see Doyle or Ebanks Blake scoring sooner or later.

Milijas does a Lampard-esque late arrival into the box and scores, after Jensen saves Doyle initial shot, although he should push the ball in wide areas, not into centre of box. 1-0 for Wolves.

    Everton v Birmingham line-ups:

Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Heitinga, Neill, Baines, Pienaar, Osman, Cahill, Bilyaletdinov, Fellaini, Saha.
Subs: Nash, Vaughan, Yakubu, Coleman, Duffy, Agard, Baxter.

Birmingham: Hart, Carr, Roger Johnson, Dann, Ridgewell, Larsson, Bowyer, Ferguson, McFadden, Jerome, Benitez.
Subs: Maik Taylor, Phillips, Fahey, McSheffrey, Damien Johnson, Carsley, Vignal.
This is the worst balanced Everton starting line-up I ever saw, goalkeeper, 4 full backs, and 6 offensive players in midfield/attack, including Osman and Cahill in centre of midfield Doh
Hopefully we will survive against mighty Birmingham.

I don't know about that...look at how poor Burnley are away from home: 0 wins, 1 draw, 7 defeats before this game. That tells me Wolves should be winning today anyway, without the need for a ridiculous action like making 10 changes at once. 3 or 4 should have been enough, to protect his most fatigued players.

Nah, I think the team that faced Spurs had to be saved for this game. You can't play them and lose 3-0 against defending champions. It takes a toll on confidence as much as fitness. So it'd be wise to rest and keep them fresh for this game.

Okay, it's Fellaini and Osman in centre midfield, not Cahill and Osman, it's slightly better. Cahill in his preferred second striker role.
Also, Bilalyetdinow for the first time is playing as right midfielder, hopefully it will work way, theoretically I prefer him there and Pienaar on the left, not the other way around.

Edit: And Billy Boy just scored ok

Brum will go on a losing streak if they lose this game badly.

how the fuck is that not a penalty with green's tackle on kalou? He doesn't even have eyes on the ball and as kalou goes ot control it his foot takes out kalous leg meaning the ball gets booted and completely shoulder barges him to the floor. load of shit.

Great refereeing by Dean for the pen - didn't think it was on 1st view but it deffo was.

Chelsea should have had one too but we won't worry about that.

Chelsea get the least favourable refereeing decisions of the big 4 for me.

Excellent refereeing from Dean so far. Been spot on giving the 3 penalties he's given (Gabbidon juggling the ball in his own penalty area, Ashley Cole's foul, and Green shoulder-charging Kalou). Can't believe Ballack's missed our 2 penalties though, what a German Rolling Eyes
