The drogba hype is in full effect, I'm listen the BBC and its drogba everything, ivory coast cup to win the cup because of drogba and they will do great things at the WC, because of drogba.

It his worth noting that all these persons seems to be EPL fan boys/Pundits

Its like the hype surrounding him at chelsea, it seems everyone has forgotten that he has done jack shit at international level.

While someone like eto'o has won

    2 CL
    2 Cup of nations
    1 Olympic title

and Cameroon and Egypt have a better team

Angola pwning Mali 2-0 currently. I know someone who lumped on Mali to win the tournament outright, mainly because he really rates Kanoute, Sissoko, Diarra and Keita.

I've never heard of any of their defenders though.

    Manucho is playing cheers

    He didn't score yet Sad

the COMEBACK is on 4-1. Keita scores a wondergoal, dribbling from his own corner flag down the left wing, cutting inside beating 4 men and chipping the goalkeeper from the edge of the area.

Manu scored 2 goals in what , 2 or 3 mins the dying mins to defeat Bayern in the CL final.

Liverpool hit 3 past Milan in 6 minutes in another CL final

Turkey came from 2-0 down to win against Czech in the last 15 mins in the last Euros

    etc etc

These things can happen, it doesn't only happen in Africa u know.

This is one of the reasons why it could be nice if the cup could be moved, could loved to have watch this game, but couldn't because it clashed with league games.

did anyone watch the match live

Laugh WTF! If this had been an EPL game you'd hear/read the usual BULLSHITE "...and this is why the EPL is the best league in the world". lol!

The match was probably fixed, but its skulduggery absolutely pales in comparison to that of the EPL's complete system's favoritism towards the fucking red nose and his mancs. True fucking story! <Ale>

Anyone else think the Togo "play or not to play" decision is being heavily influenced by money? We know their FA is skint, so in the attack their government saw an opportunity to withdraw their team and not have to pay the players. The team probably weren't getting out of the group anyway, considering they had Ivory Coast and Ghana in there.

On the other hand, not all the players have big contracts at Manchester City, so they were probably keen to brush aside security concerns and play in order to get their wages.
