Were well placed at half time. 3-0 was flattering, and there were annoying little decisions (e.g. Song getting about 3 final warnings and only gets booked when he dives Rolling Eyes ) which favoured home side, but we didn't create enough and responded poorly to going behind. Not sure why Delph was brought on either. He seems to only get thrown in at the deep end. 'tis weird.

Most annoying thing is that TV top 4 favouritism has set it up so Liverpool will beat us next, as team will be knackered and demoralised after that, with only 48 hrs to recover. While Liverpool got gifted a victory and extra day to recover. The inevitable loss on Tuesday that this has set up could be vital in the battle for 4th.

DB, the mistake was to give the Xmas off to the players, some lapdancing bars must've stayed open. Bubbly

Carew wasn't the reason we lost Smile

Seriously, though, you should've done a bit more going down on the right because Traore can be a bit rabbit in the headlights and I feared you'd skin him today. Downing was getting past Sagna on the other side but Milner kept going to the middle where Vermaelen had him covered. Must've enjoyed marking someone smaller than him for a change.

You have to laugh at Sky though, United's injuries, Liverpool's lack of squad depth, do me a favour!

I don't know why you keep saying this, Dunne was playing poorly for City for about a season and a half before Given arrived.

    When agendas get embarrassing. <Ale>

    liar.

No lies, he was poor way before Given arrived, as a football fan you should know this. I've never had a particularly high opinion of him anyway, and todays game did nothing to impress me, he was poor.

Great team performance and great result considering the Chelsea result yesterday. More of the same please <Ale>

Do you not get tired of cursing your players?!

I expect his injuries to follow a similar pattern as the past few months. He's got 6 now, so i expect him to get something like that in the same number of appearnaces.

btw Wasn't Berbatov meant to be out for 3 months? scratch Pretty sure i read that somewhere.

Except Casillas comes off his line, doesn't ruin every defender that plays in front of him, plus Madrid have had the best defensive record in La Liga over some seasons with Casillas in goal, and of course, they've won things.

I think he's had a poor calender year though, I'll give you that. Kodak Ale

He's ruined some of the best defenders in world football.

If you're talking Samuel & Cannavaro, they were always overrated. Ale

Yet Samuel was great before he went there..and is doing great now. Even kept Messi in his pocket in the first Barca Inter tie in the CL this season..

and neither of them were ever shit, but suddenly were at Madrid.

Cannavaro was 10x worse at Inter than he was at Madrid. Samuel was also pretty bad in his 1 year or 2 at Inter as well.

Rafael playing CF, and misses another good chance. Berbatov dives, but the keeper didn't get the ball. Not a penalty, seen them given.

    Inter bought Cannavaro for €23mil.

Ended up exchanging him for a second-string Goalkeeper Laugh

Man Utd score, Rooney finishes after Giggs flicked on a Fletcher cross.

    Pretty weak defending from Hull.
