Don't you have about £80m to spare? There are no excuses for behaving like Arsenal during this window.

And Beckford is supposed to be ours, this game will have done us no good at all. Erm

He does look pretty decent Beckford..dunno how well he'd cope in the prem every week, he was only up against a rotten orange and a rapist today so..

He should definitely step up to the Championship though.

Well it's supposed to be between him and Kris Boyd. Hughton seems to be collecting strikers that aren't quite good enough for the premiership.

From chrisbevan_bbc via Twitter: "Still no sign of Sir Alex Ferguson, nearly an hour after the final whistle. He's spoken to MUTV, but not to us waiting hacks..."

    Razz

Hope we don't go and lose to West Ham now, that would really spoil what has been a glorious day of football. Doubt it will be a good game seeing as both sides will be understrength.

Pretty magnanimous from Ferguson up until he describes five minutes of injury time as 'an insult to the game.' Some of those Man Utd players are going to get such a bollocking after that.

I wonder what film Batman went to see at the cinema this afternoon?

We've had most of the possession so far in our game, and both sides have had shots from range. We've already had a considerable number of corners or crosses that have failed to beat the man at the front post though. And Song gets book for a heavy challenge after the ball got away from him.
