Reading defend for 45 minutes with 9 men behind the ball, if they weren't packing the 6 yard box with defenders there would be no one to deflect the ball in.

Ever since I praised Aquilani after half an hour he's been fairly ordinary. Degen however has lived up to my hype, he's like this every time I've seen him, just doesn't last 90 minutes. I think this (81min) is the longest I've seen him play in 2 seasons.

Yikes! Did all the hard bit, just needed to dink it over the keeper.

He's been the undoubted star of these 2 games, I watched him a few times for Watford and he was disappointing, Obertan-esq, exciting to watch but no delivery or finish. His crossing has been decent in these 2 games.

This is a fucking shame, Reading have been the better team in both games but will go out to a freaky lucky jammy goal.

the best team is usually the team who concedes the bulk of possession and defends with 9 men behind the ball
