    Xavi tends to sit deep at barca anyway Giving Deco the freedom of midfield which i think is basically the plan at United, even though it will be modelled by sky etc. as some ridiculous 442 with Hargreaves/???? or Scholes on the left

    If you had watched United all season the formation has been anything but a rigid 442

    thats's what edmilson does, xavi is the link man between midfield and attack

    no Xavi drops deep like Pirlo and links Midfield and defense, he just keeps things ticking over, which frees up Deco

    @messiah

    are u saying barca play a 4-2-1-3 formation with xavi and edmilson both playing deep?

    Ok forget xavi , my point was not much about him but the role of the midfielder that plays on the right of the midfield three.

Granted he gave the ball away on a couple of occassions - he's young - but generally his passing and vision were superb. He was integral to the victory and did superbly for the goal. Arsenal were worth the victory.

    What did they give Rosicky.

    I personally thought he was your most dangerous player.

    I think thay gave him 8. I also thought he played well - he is suprisingly robust, considering how slight he looks. He is a supremely elegant player - a joy to watch. Obviously the game was not as physical or spicy as some in recent years have been, but he still did well against the, admittedly limited, efforts of Uniteds midfield.

    freddie fabregas was not that good.
    He gave it away numerous times, twice ronaldo almost scored from his mistakes.
    Some say fabregas man of the match ronaldo rubbish, but if adebayor missed ronaldo scores ronaldo great fabregas rubbish? nah.
    Rosicky was def arsenal best player, very impressive.

    I agree to an extent. Surprised to see he gave the ball away 19 times, going by Opta stats.

    Rosicky was Arsenals best player for me as well.
