    Eboue Targeting United Match
Arsenal's Ivorian right-back, Emmanuel Eboue, could give the club a big boost ahead of the weekend's looming showdown with Premiership pace-setters Manchester United.

Eboue says he hopes to recover from his ankle injury in time for the crunch visit of the Red Devils.

The pacy defender's injury originally flared up before Christmas - and recurred during the Gunners' 3-1 FA Cup Third Round victory over Liverpool on 6 January.

"I've been injured since the Portsmouth game and when I trained I still felt it a bit," Eboue told the club's website.

"But I hope to be back for Manchester United. I really, really want to play."

Who should Man Utd play at LB, Heinze or Evra?

I don't think he'll be fit to be honest. Even if he was then he'll probably just dive constantly then get sent off Doh

Even if he is fit I doubt that he would start the match. I think arsene is seriously pissed off with his diving and feigning injury and would like to punish him. We know arsene isn't a saint when it comes to simulation considering he never reprimanded pires/reyes but is the case of eboue I think it’s different. Firstly he does it so obviously and regularly that is just embarrassing. Secondly, it’s almost ok for an attacking player to dive and not get the decision but for a defender its just leaves the team dangerously exposed, which can be seen in the Arsenal v spurs game last year.

I don’t mind Eboue playing in the match as long as he cuts out his antics and is fully fit. If he’s only half fit I’d rather see Hoyte playing even against Cronaldo. Hoyte does have the pace to keep up with if not the positioning (which eboue doesn’t have either).

I'm slightly concerned actually. Manyoo have been getting better at set pieces and considering they play with traditional wingers. I can see them getting lots of corners plus some free kicks from a Crinaldo special. Also, other than the last game Rooney always seems to play well against us. I can see him scoring another wonder goal as he did for Everton. Other than that I think we will cope with their attacks.

There seems to be a problem with our attacking being able to dominate a game. For some reason Henry and robin just haven’t clicked yet, maybe it’s because Henry’s just come back and robin just has to readapt.
I’m expecting a big game for rosicky, he seems like the sought of play who thrives on big open games. Actually, I’ll predict that if the we, rosicky will be MOTM. I also expect lil’cesc and helb to have solid games and help carry flamini.

    Rio: Adebayor is top gun

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has pinpointed Emmanuel Adebayor as Arsenal's danger-man ahead of Sunday's crunch clash between the two sides.

The Togolese striker scored the only goal of the game as The Gunners won 1-0 at Old Trafford in September and, according to Ferdinand, is the player who has caused league leaders United the most concern so far this season.

With fit-again captain Thierry Henry and Dutch international Robin van Persie operating in tandem against Blackburn, Adebayor was restricted to a substitute's role despite having scored three goals in his previous four outings.

Now Ferdinand has revealed that The Red Devils would be relieved to see the former Monaco man left on the sidelines again by Arsene Wenger.

"I would say he [Adebayor] is the toughest to be honest," said Ferdinand in The Sun.

"I think Adebayor is the player who has given us the most problems this season, with his movement and skill.

"Arsenal controlled the game against us and he was exceptional."

Sir Alex Ferguson and his old rival Wenger lock horns at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, with the game live on Sky Sports 1 at 4pm

More worried about that Portuguese youngster.

Anyway we should make the Mancsw worry about us, in tsead of worrying about the Mancs. That's why I'm so happy Wenger seems to have moved away from [spits on the ground] 4-5-1. Arsenal's team is too good to play reactive football. Let's take the (our) game to our opponent.

More importantly because Arsenal wouldn't get away playing at home like they did against Liverpool.

The way I see it its all on Ronaldo, Scholes and Larsson to shine. Neutralise them and you'd be alright. Despite their defense & goallie, Manchester United have the uncanny ability to leak a goal a match, even against the weaker opponents.
And Rooney will choke again - he's saving his A-game for their following match against Watford at home.

Will Man Utd be the first team to beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium?

The result of the Liverpool and Chelsea game will play a big part in the way Man Utd approach the Arsenal game.

the main thing Man Utd have to worry about is being hit on the counter attack. i don't think Arsenal will control the game in midfield because they will play 4-4-2 and not 4-5-1.

SAF was at the Liverpool game. what i noticed from that game was that Liverpool had alot of the ball but did nothing with it, Arsenal would get men behind the ball and break up there attack.

Man Utd need Rooney and Giggs to be on form this game. i hope for a 2-1 win for Man Utd.
