Last I thought of Vieira as a force was for Juve and for France in 2006 World cup. After that, it's been erratic. He would be Motm once in a while but mostly terrible and pathetic displays. France weren't doing well with him IMO. LL?

when will this agenda-based hatred of Lampard stop? He won two PL titles and took Chelsea to CL semis under Mourinho. He has also become a creative player as he aged. He got 20 assists last season in all competitions. Without Mourinho protecting his ass. Highest scorer for Chelsea when they made CL final. There have been penalties, but you do see he has scored good goals and important ones in games.

Why Chelsea failed in recent seasons? Simple, you don't replace Makelele with a proper DM. You get Ballack and play him out of position. that's how you spoil a proper midfield
