I told you all that I wasn't looking forward to this season when Liverpool's BEST PLAYER left for the Evil Club. It was gonna be a long season. Now, Gerrard MUST be sold in the summer, and Liverpool will immediately bounce back sort of like when Owen was sold by Rafa Benítez, and he guided Liverpool to the CL Final. Same case with Gerrard. Get rid of "inspirational captain" Laugh AND Liverpool will bounce back right away. True story mes amis. I know you don't see it just like when I told you it was gonna be a long season this '09-'10 with Xabi Alonso gone. It's time for Gerrard to move on, preferably to the Evil Club. Ale

The problem with this post is the first few lines. This is Rafa's third mediocre season.

Looking the 8th best team in the league and going out of all cups at almost the earliest possible stage is horrendous.

He's finished 5th once....and he'll probably match that or possibly worse this season. For a club of Liverpool's standard to finish below 4 teams twice whatever else has happenend is irrevelent.

Rafa's time has been hugely overated. Ok he won the CL. But it was the luckiest shit you'll ever see. Ok he won the F.A cup beating a mid table team on pens needing a miracle stoppage time equaliser in the 90 minutes as well.

The only two things he's won he was lucky as fuck to do so. And he'sfinished in the top two ONCE in 5 years. While he's finished outside the top 4 once also but looks on course for that again.

His whole reign overall has been mediocre bar a lil good spell in europe. History will show Houliier had a lot more success.

Gerrard has been injured most of the season Puro

Rafa's past achievements will at least get him to the end of the season. It is up to him to improve us by then and give himself a shot at staying because there isn't a manager in the league getting less out of a squad than Benitez is with this Liverpool team this season.
