i rate here müller as striker too, but hes more a combination of striker and attacking midfielder

Just Podolski and Klose. The rest are useless for the NT.

I would take Gomez as a sub (just because Klose might get injured) and Muller as a AM. But Germany should (and I think they will) take a lot of MD rather then strikers. Even at Euro'08 Germany won because of the midfield. Sweistenger was great (I know a lot of germans don't rate him).

that has changed in this season, he plays in a new position for bayern, and hes fantastic

in big tournaments schweini was always good, but he never delivered constant over years for the club, now he has found his position

Also, considering that Kevo is on fire right now, I think considering him for the team (at least on a purely sporting/form level) is only appropriate!

Podolski has to come. Although lord knows what he has done this season to deserve a call up at all. Same with Klose, uneventful season.

Others: Kiessling, Müller, Gomez

Personally though, if Gomez starts, I'll just turn off the game. I don't care if its the world cup.....It physically pains me to watch him.
